Claudio Ranieri
Claudio Ranieri
Claudio Ranieri, aka "The Tinkerman", is back in management with Cagliari.
Ranieri has enjoyed a lengthy managerial career during which he's taken charge of some of the biggest clubs in Europe. However, when it comes to his achievements, nothing comes close to winning the Premier League title with Leicester in 2015.
In what is widely regarded as one of - if not THE - most stunning stories in sports history, Ranieri miraculously led the 5000/1 long shots to glory. He was then ruthlessly axed nine months later...before returning to the dugout with French outfit Nantes for a single season.
Ranieri has amassed over 1000 matches across 22 different spells dating back to 1986.
Ranieri has managed an abundance of clubs in his homeland, including Juventus, Inter Milan and Roma, while he's also had spells at the likes of Monaco, Valencia, Atletico Madrid and Chelsea, plus an unsuccessful at international level with Greece.
In terms of silverware and achievements Ranieri has surprisingly only hoisted a handful of trophies with Cagliari, Fiorentina, and Monaco, although winning the Premier League with Leicester was simply a staggering achievement, and one that he'll never top.
His most recent job in England was a three-month stint at Watford, during which he won only two games.
