World Cup Tips: 5/1 Treble makes appeal for Tuesday's qualifiers
The World Cup qualifiers continue this week and after a profitable week here at BettingOdds.com which included a clean sweep on the England v Andorra game, we’re back with our best bets for Tuesday evening.
All three games that feature kick-off at 7:45pm and when combined pay 4/1 as a treble. However, we’re recommending the 5/1 that is available here thanks to a little boost from the folk over at Paddy Power. The enhanced price can be backed by clicking the link below.
World Cup Qualifier Tips
The Netherlands to beat Turkey
The first in this trio of teams to get three points on Tuesday is the Netherlands who take on Turkey in the Johan Cruyff Arena. After a 1-1 draw with Norway six days ago, Louis Van Gaal’s Netherlands side spanked Montenegro 4-0 at the weekend in a game they dominated from start to finish, letting off 18 shots on goal.
Memphis Depay put in an excellent performance against Montenegro, gabbing himself a brace and registering six key passes in a game that saw him receive his second perfect 10 rating of the qualifying campaign on WhoScored. The Netherlands now sit just one point behind group leaders Turkey and will be looking to seek revenge for their 4-2 defeat in Istanbul when the two met back in March.
Virgil van Dijk could return to the starting line-up for the hosts on Tuesday which would be a huge boost for the hosts with Daley blind also returning from suspension. Turkey failed to beat Montenegro on home turf last week, playing out a 2-2 draw, and all things considered, the Dutch should have enough to end the international break top of the pile in Group G.
Austria to beat Scotland
Austria host Scotland on Tuesday and after a hugely disappointing 5-2 defeat to Israel at the weekend, the hosts need a win in order to maintain their chances of securing a place at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Scotland beat Moldova 1-0 on Saturday evening but in truth, it wasn’t the most inspired performance from Steve Clarke’s men. Scotland also have several players who have had to withdraw from the squad heading into this clash with Austria, including Nathan Patterson, Ryan Fraser, and Kenny Mclean.
With Austria’s need to get three points on Tuesday combined with Scotland’s poor showing against Moldova and flurry of absentees, we’re happy to have the home team in our treble priced around 10/11 as a single with some firms.
Serbia to beat the Republic of Ireland
The third and final selection is Serbia to beat the Republic of Ireland in Dublin, which can be backed around 11/10 as a single with most firms at the time of writing. The Republic of Ireland have been pretty poor in this World Cup qualifying campaign and only picked up their first point in four matches against Azerbaijan on Saturday.
In contrast, Serbia have been excellent across their four qualifiers, picking up 10 points, and currently sitting top of Group A. Aleksandr Mitrovic has now scored seven goals in his last four World Cup qualifier appearances and it would be no surprise to see him get on the scoresheet to inflict more misery on the Irish on Tuesday evening.
That’s 5/1 that is available on the treble that can be backed with Paddy Power. Best of luck to anyone following and as always, please gamble responsibly.
