Four years ago England were placed in Group G alongside Belgium, Tunisia, and Panama.
Southgate's side left it late to beat Tunisia 2-1 in their opener, before thumping Panama 6-1 to secure their passage into the knockout-stages. A much-changed side then lost 1-0 to Belgium in their final group game.
England would go on to edge out Colombia on penalties, followed by a 2-0 win over Sweden, only to suffer a heartbreaking extra-time defeat to Croatia in the semi-finals.
World Cup winners Kaka and Pirlo are just a couple of a host of stars at the draw.
Look at those beaming faces!

This could well change in the next hour, but as the draw edges closer here's a little reminder of what the odds market looks like right now.
We have Brazil top of the market at 5/1 as they go in search of their first World Cup since 2002, next up are holders France at 6/1, followed by Gareth Southgate's England at 7/1 and Spain at 8/1.
Germany are available at 9/1, while Argentina look a decent double-figure price at 11/1.
Full odds below...
Southgate in the house!
He may never have got his hands on the World Cup during his international career, but David Beckham is an out-and-out England legend who has high hopes for for the current crop of players in Qatar, telling BBC Sport:
"My expectations for England are always high. Ours fans will have high expectations – and rightly so. I feel Gareth [Southgate] has done an incredible job. We’ve got a team that’s been together for quite a few years.
"You can’t really call them a young team anymore – but many of the players are pretty young, while they also have experience in there with the likes of Harry Kane. I feel this is a real opportunity for us. We’re coming into the tournament in good form. We just have to keep that up."
For old times' sake, here's THAT goal...

Are you old enough to remember the farce that was the 1982 World Cup Draw? The live broadcast for the tournament in Spain ended in absolute calamity when, teams were drawn in the wrong groups, wrong order, were redrawn and then eventually the balls starting breaking. All whilst a perplexed Kevin Keegan, Graeme Souness, Alan Hansen and Pat Jennings looked on. Surely Qatar 2022 can't be as bad as this one was?
We are hearing from multiple sources that squad sizes for Qatar 2022 will be increased from 23 players to 26. Team coaches are discussing the move as we speak...
In a shock announcement at the 72nd annual FIFA congress in Qatar, Gianni Infantino let it slip that there would be a new addition to the World Cup draw for Qatar2022. One lucky team will be jettisoned straight into the Round of 16. One of the 32 teams will be represented by a golden ball inside their usual ball. When the ball is pulled out, that team will get a bye past the group stages and into the last sixteen of the competition.
This is a breaking news story and we will have more to follow...
Of course this one was a April Fools, although I'm not discounting FIFA bringing this in for 2026 ;)
There are some legendary (Cafu & Lothar Matthaus), and some not so legendary (Tim Cahill & Jemaine Jenas) names involved in the running of the tournament tomorrow. Here's everything you need to know about the presenters and the draw assistants...

We've taken a look at the 24-year-old's next club odds and his chances of featuring in Qatar later this year...
