Wolves vs. Man City Betting Tips: Take a punt on Haaland to bag a brace at Molineux

Both Wolves and Manchester City were beaten in the League Cup this week with the pair facing off at Molineux in the Premier League on Saturday. The game kicks off at 3pm and we’ve asked our man Anthony Eadson to provide us with his best bets.
Wolves vs Man City Tips
Wolves have already conceded four goals at home to Brighton and three at home to Liverpool so far this season and for my main play of the afternoon I’m backing City on the -1 match handicap. This means we’ll be paid out should the visitors win the game by two or more goals.
On their most recent league outing Gary O’Neil’s side were held to a 1-1 draw against Bournemouth and they are now winless in their last four matches across all competitions. Manchester City have won their last four matches by at least two goals and backing them to put in a professional performance and see off Wolves by two or more goals looks a nice way in.
Erling Haaland scored a hat-trick the last time these two sides met, and looks as hungry as ever to go out and beat his own record from last term of 36 league goals in a 38-game season. Haaland has recorded six more shots on target than any other player in the division in 2023/24 and he can add to his goal-tally here against a side who have conceded 10 goals across their last four matches.
I’ve also included Nelson Semedo to be carded, taking us up to a tempting 10/1. Only Joao Palhinha of Fulham collected more cards in the Premier League than Nelson Semedo last season. The Wolves full-back was shown 11 yellows and one red in 2022/23 and has started on a similar trajectory this time round with three cautions in just six appearances. The former Barcelona man will be up against Jeremy Doku or Jack Grealish and should be in for a long afternoon against The Champions.
