Wolves vs. Arsenal Betting Tips: Back the Gunners to win to Nil at Molineux

Arsenal travel to the Black Country to take on Wolves on Saturday evening with Premier League fans being treated to a 7:45pm kick-off. We’ve previewed the action and have provided you with two bets that we like the look of.
These two sides have experienced contrasting starts to the campaign with Wolves currently wedged inside the relegation zone in 19th, while Arsenal sit pretty at the top of the pile. A win here for the Gunners would ensure they go into the World Cup break as league leaders, something not too many punters would have predicted before a ball was kicked.
This however, will be the final game in charge for Steve Davis at Wolves, with Julian Lopetegui set to take over after the tournament in Qatar. The Old Gold have collected just 10 points from their opening 14 matches this term and will need to sort their form out drastically heading into the New Year, should they not wish to find themselves in a relegation battle.

Arsenal have been cut into 9/2 second favourites behind Manchester City to go on and lift this season’s Premier League trophy. Mikel Arteta’s men are also the favourites to taste Europa League glory this season, but a famous quadruple will not be on the cards after they were dumped out of the Carabao Cup in midweek by Brighton.
Wolves vs Arsenal Tips
The first selection we are touting at Molineux is for Arsenal to win the game to Nil. At the time of writing both Betfair and BetVictor are the top-priced firms on this selection, with 17/10 on show, implying a 37% chance of this bet landing.

Wolves have failed to win 19 of their last 21 Premier League matches and have serious issues in attack having only scored eight goals all season. Raul Jimenez and Pedro Neto are both injured and Diego Costa is suspended after his red card; things are not getting any easier for them in the final third. Arsenal have kept clean sheets in five of their last seven away matches. Arteta’s side will look to dominate this game with the form they have been in recently, another win to nil could be on the cards.
We’ve also highlighted a player who we fancy to be carded in the form of Wolves and former Barcelona defender Nelson Semedo. Referee Stuart Attwell will be in charge of this game and with Semedo picking up three yellows and a red in just 12 appearances this term, he could be a player he keeps an eye on.
A large proportion of the thinking behind this bet is that Semedo will be having to take care of Gabriel Martinelli. The Brazilian is drawing 1.5 fouls per game this season, and with Gabriel Jesus, the second most fouled player in the division, sometimes drifting over to Semedo’s area of the pitch, we think his chances of a booking are increased. Evening matches at Molineux often bring a lively atmosphere and at 11/2 with bet365 we are backing the Nelson Semedo card on Saturday.
