West Brom v Liverpool Tips: Thiago to find the book
Live on Sky Sports, West Brom host Liverpool at the Hawthorns this Sunday at 4.30pm. West Brom have been officially relegated so come into this game with nothing but pride to play for. Meanwhile Liverpool are in a must-win situation if they want to reach the Champions League spots. They come into this game full of confidence after dispatching Manchester United 4-2 away from home and will be looking to take all 3pts back home. As usual, I have 3 bets for the game.
Ivanovic and Snodgrass are out for West Brom. Matip, Van Dijk, Gomez, Henderson, Kelleher Milner, Origi, Kabak and Keita are out for Liverpool.
West Brom possible starting lineup:
Johnstone, Furlong, Bartley, Ajayi, O’shea, Townsend, Yokuslu, Gallagher, Maitland-Niles, Pereira, Diagne
Liverpool possible starting lineup:
Alisson, Alexander Arnorld, Phillips, Williams, Robertson, Thiago, Fabinho, Wijnaldum, Mane, Firmino, Salah
West Brom v Liverpool Tips
With West Brom already relegated, I can see them trying to play positive football which could play into the hands of Liverpool who are expected to go all out from the first minute. I expect Liverpool to score early and win this game comfortably so a HT/FT bet on them @ 8/11 looks good for a 1pt stake.
Gallagher is easily West Brom’s most booked player with 10 yellow cards to his name and loves a cynical foul. With a card happy ref Mike Dean at the whistle, I am happy to have this as my 2nd bet of the game @ 23/10 with a 0.5pt stake.
Gallagher is West Brom’s most booked player. Yokuslu is 2nd for most fouls per game for West Brom. Thiago is 1st for most fouls for Liverpool. With Mike Dean in charge, there is always a possibility of a card-fest and this treble looks a big price @ 66/1 so we will have a very small 0.25pt stake on it as our longshot.
