Watford vs Liverpool: Salah to take centre stage at Vicarage Road

With international duties over until November, we head back to the Premier League for an early Saturday kick-off where Liverpool travel to Vicarage Road to face newly promoted Watford. A tough start to Watford’s return to the top flight led to an early exit for manager Xisco Munoz following four defeats in seven Premier League matches.
Watford vs Liverpool Tips:
The Hornets have appointed Italian Claudio Ranieri on a 2-year deal in a bid to help avoid relegation come May.
After two incredibly entertaining draws with Man City and Brentford before the international break, Klopp's men will be looking to bounce back and leave Vicarage road with all three points in order to jump to the top of the table. Liverpool however could be without a host of star players. Jota and Trent both remain doubts due to injury, whilst Alisson and Fabinho will unlikely return to the UK after International duties in the early hours of Friday morning.
The Egyptian king has had an electric start to the season yet again, the form required if Liverpool are to take back the Premier League title from Manchester City. He has started the season finding the net 9 times in 9 starts and is odds on to do so yet again against a leaky Watford side who have conceded in all of their league matches this season.
Salah's shot numbers have been extremely high, registering 3 or more shots in 8 of his 9 appearances this season (3.88pg), and registering 2 or more shots on target also in 8 of his 9 appearances (2.33pg). With Betfair, we can get odds against for this to happen yet again this weekend and against a side who have conceded 20 shots in both of their last outings (v Leeds and Newcastle) it looks great value.
Liverpool are huge favourites to take all three points from Vicarage Road on Saturday afternoon (priced around 4/11) but I have managed to find some value at a large price that gets Liverpool on side.
Liverpool will be desperate to win here on Saturday after back to back draws in the Premier League, but still remain unbeaten this season. Watford on the other hand have lost 4 of their opening 7 Premier League matches. In those 7 Premier League matches, Liverpool have convincingly had the most shots on target in all of those, going closest against City when they lost the count 4-3. Liverpool have also convincingly won the corner count in all but one of their Premier League matches, coming up short only to City. This bet has landed in 3 of their 4 wins, coming up short by one corner v Burnley.
With expecting Liverpool to take all three points on Saturday in convincing fashion, I have built a longshot that is very Liverpool heavy.
Matip is down to start in a back four for Liverpool and with expecting Liverpool to rack up the corners as usual, this will increase the chance of Matip registering a shot. He has landed a shot in all Premier League games this season bar one, a total of 9 shots in just 6 matches.
Liverpool have cleared the corner handicap 5 of their 7 matches, falling short against Man City and Burnley (8-4 corner count). The -2 match handicap gives this a nice boost and if Liverpool are to bounce back convincingly I expect this longshot to go close.
