USA vs. Ghana Betting Tips: Pulisic to score in Wednesday's friendly
Geodis Park, home of Nashville SC, is the latest international friendly hosting venue as the USA take on Ghana at 1:30am BST on Wednesday.
The United States were unable to make it three wins on the spin, taking the lead against Germany but ultimately losing the game 3-1. Christian Pulisic opened the scoring just before the half-hour mark in Connecticut, however, Gregg Berhalter's men were handed a firm humbling in the end, conceding just 12 minutes later and then twice in the second half.
Ghana also enter this friendly meeting having failed to secure three consecutive wins by losing to Mexico. The West African team didn't land so much as a glove on Sunday's opponents, meaning that a performance will be just as important as a result on Wednesday.
USA vs Ghana Tips
Gregg Berhalter's USA team hold a 60.87% win ratio since he took charge in December 2018. Along the way they've given a good account of themselves, particularly at last year's World Cup finals when they gathered five points from the group stages, including a 0-0 draw with England, and progressed to the knockout stages of the competition.
As evidenced by that most recent tournament in Qatar, Ghana will give it a right good go but ultimately come unstuck against this level of opposition. The Ghanaians were defeated by both Portugal and Uruguay in Group H either side of a narrow win over South Korea - all three of which met this line of two or more goals.
This goals line has been present in each of the United States' last 11 outings, and we're confident they'll have enough to see of Ghana in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
Following on from his antics against Germany, we're backing Christian Pulisic to once again find the net for USA.
AC Milan's new arrival has settled into life in Italy quick, scoring in four of his eight Serie A appearances and providing an attacking return in five.
On the international stage, the winger has 27 goals across 63 caps, including 12 in the qualification process for last year's tournament, and a further six in friendly matches.
With a front three of Pulisic, Timothy Weah and Folarin Balogun, this is undoubtedly USA's strongest area of the field.
As we've seen in the Premier League in spurts for Chelsea, Pulisic is capable of some truly magical moments, and Ghana are the type of opponent who will enable him the opportunity to continue showcasing his talents in a USA shirt.
