Tottenham vs. West Ham Predictions: Expect chances galore in this London derby

Live on Sky Sports, Tottenham host West Ham in the Premier League at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this Sunday at 4.30pm.
Tottenham vs. West Ham Tips
The hosts come into this game in decent form, having won 3 of their last 4 Premier League games scoring an impressive 13 goals in the process. They currently sit 7th in the league table with 48pts, 6pts behind Arsenal who occupy the all important final Champions League spot. If Conte’s men are to qualify for the Champions League, every game from now on till the end of the season will have to be treated as a final and they will have to show a lot of consistency in these final few games.
The visitors West Ham come into this game off the back of an extra time win over Sevilla in the Europa League round of 16s which helped them qualify for the quarter finals of the competition for the first time in their history. That should boost their confidence ahead of this clash but fatigue issues could also come into play considering West Ham put out their full strength side on Thursday. In the league, they’re tied with Tottenham on 48pts having played an extra game and another competitive game should be on the cards.
A hugely significant Premier League clash awaits us and as usual I have you covered with my 2 best betting angles for this game included in the preview below:
Team News:
Tanganga, Skipp & Sessegnon are out for Tottenham. No other injuries/suspensions.
Coufal, Ogbonna & Bowen are out for West Ham. No other injuries/suspensions.
Tottenham possible starting lineup: Lloris; Romero, Dier, Davies; Doherty, Bentancur, Hojbjerg, Reguilon; Kulusevski, Kane, Son
West Ham possible starting lineup: Fabianski; Fredericks, Dawson, Zouma, Masuaku; Rice, Soucek; Yarmolenko, Vlasic, Benrahma; Antonio
- Harry Kane Over 0.5 shots on target in the match
- Declan Rice Over 1.5 tackles in the match
Harry Kane is in supreme goalscoring form for Spurs at the moment with 5 goals in his last 4 Premier League appearances. He has the second most shots on target in the league with 40 to his name and at least 1 effort on target from him should be a banker. For the second part, we will be backing West Ham’s main man Declan Rice to get at least 2 tackles. He is averaging the most tackles (2.4) in this West Ham squad for players who have made at least 20 appearances and had an incredible 8 tackles against Spurs in the reverse leg. He will be expected to get stuck in for the visitors and should be comfortably able to clear the “Over 1.5 tackles line”. Combining these 2 selections gives us a cracking bet-builder and I am happy to stake 1pt on it as our main bet for this clash.
Cristian Romero is Tottenham’s most booked player with 8 yellow cards to his name. He has been booked in 3 out of his last 4 appearances for the hosts and will be in a physical battle against Michail Antonio. I can see him bringing down West Ham’s big man to pick up another booking. For the second part, I am backing Kulusevski to get another assist. It has been a splendid start to his Tottenham career with 4 assists in just 6 Premier League starts making a huge impact on the hosts’ attacking output. Combining these 2 selections gives us an attractive long-shot and I am happy to stake a very small 0.25pt on that.
Best of luck if you follow these selections. Please always gamble responsibly
