Tottenham v Chelsea Prediction: Bet on bookings for this London derby

Live on Sky Sports, Tottenham host fierce rivals Chelsea this Sunday at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium at 4.30pm.
After making a perfect start to the season with three 1-0 wins in a row going into the international break as the league leaders, Tottenham have since lost 3-0 to Crystal Palace in the Premier League and drawn 2-2 away to Rennes in the Europa Conference League.
They looked average in the loss against Crystal Palace having just two attempts all game. The squad is decimated with injuries and the last team they would want to be coming up against is the European champions Chelsea.
Thomas Tuchel’s blues are joint top of the table in the Premier League and started the defence of their Champions league title with a 1-0 win against Zenit on Tuesday.
Chelsea are still unbeaten this season and are becoming incredibly hard to beat. New signing Romelu Lukaku has been the star of the show for them so far this season having scored four goals in four games and is showing no signs of stopping any time soon.
This is the biggest game of the weekend and a massive London derby with fans back in the stadium. A mouth-watering clash is expected this Sunday and as usual I have my three best bets included in the preview below:
Team News:
Tanganga is suspended for Tottenham while Son, Bergwijn, Eric Dier, and Moura are doubtful.
Pulisic is out for Chelsea, no other suspension/injury worries.
Tottenham possible starting lineup:
Lloris, Emerson, Sanchez, Romero, Reguilon, Hojbjerg, Skipp, Ndombele, Alli, Gil, Kane
Chelsea possible starting lineup:
Mendy; Azpilicueta, Christensen, Silva, Rudiger; Alonso, Kante, Jorginho, Mount; Havertz, Lukaku
Tottenham v Chelsea Tips
Tottenham v Chelsea Odds
This is a fierce London derby between two teams who hate each other in front of a packed stadium.
We have a card happy referee in Paul Tierney in charge who dished out six yellow cards when he took charge of these two teams last season at Stamford Bridge. I certainly think we will get four cards at the very least which would give us a refund on this bet but ideally more than four for the winner. Take Over 4.0 Asian cards at 3/4 with a 1pt stake as our main bet for this game.
Oliver Skipp has two yellow cards in four games so far for Spurs and will face a tough battle in the midfield against the likes of Kante and Jorginho. With the derby element included, I think 4/1 on him to get booked is a huge price and I am happy to get on that with a small 0.5pt stake.
The spotlight is going to be on Chelsea’s main man Lukaku who has scored four goals in 4fourgames so far and Tottenham’s defenders will try and stay close to him. His hold up play is one of the best in the world and I think he is great value for an assist here.
He had 11 assists for Inter last season and could get his first one for Chelsea here.
Hojbjerg was booked last time against Chelsea in the Premier League and I can see him mistiming a tackle and going in the book again here.
Combining these two picks give us a juicy longshot double at 17/1 and I am happy to stake a very small 0.25pt on that.
Best of luck if you follow these selections. Please always gamble responsibly.
