Tottenham vs. Liverpool Betting Tips: Two tips as the big boys clash on Super Sunday

Live on Sky Sports, Tottenham host Liverpool in the Premier League this Sunday at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The hosts sit 3rd in the league table with 26 points and are well and truly in the race for the Champions League spots.
Tottenham vs Liverpool Tips
After coming back from 2-0 down to beat Bournemouth 3-2 in injury time last week, they pulled off another comeback win against Marseille on Tuesday to top their Champions League group. Conte’s men have shown resilience in their last two games which will give them plenty of confidence going into this huge clash against a strong Liverpool side.
As for the visitors, they sit 9th in the league table with 16 points and their hopes of challenging for the league title have taken a huge dent in recent weeks as they have now lost two consecutive league games against lowly Nottingham Forest and Leeds United. They did manage to win their last group stage game in the Champions League against Napoli and will be hoping to turn things around in the league by getting all 3 points against Conte’s men.
They have been dominant against Tottenham in recent history, having gone unbeaten against them in their last 10 games in all competitions but considering the form of both teams going into this game, it is an incredibly hard fixture to predict.
A mouth-watering clash awaits us and as usual, I have you covered with 2 of my best betting angles for this game included in the preview below:
Team News:
Romero, Richarlison & Son are out for Tottenham while Kulusevski is doubtful.
Arthur, Matip, Diaz, Keita & Jota are out for Liverpool while Milner is doubtful.
Tottenham possible starting lineup:
Lloris; Dier, Lenglet, Davies; Emerson, Bissouma, Bentancur, Hojbjerg, Perisic; Moura, Kane
Liverpool possible starting lineup:
Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Konate, Van Dijk, Robertson; Henderson, Fabinho, Thiago; Salah, Firmino, Nunez
- Over 0 cards in the match for Tottenham
- Over 0 cards in the match for Liverpool
- Over 0 goals in the match for Liverpool
- Over 1.5 shots in the match for Darwin Nunez
This is a huge game in the race for the Champions League spots and I expect a tense battle between two top sides. Expect plenty of cynical fouls and aggressive tackles going in which should comfortably result in at least 1 card for each team. Referee Andy Madley has also dished out at least 1 card for each team in his last 5 out of 6 league games, with the only exception being a one-sided contest involving Manchester City and Southampton.
As for the goals, Liverpool have scored at least 1 goal in 11 of their last 12 games in all competitions and also scored against Tottenham in their last 15 consecutive games in all competitions. Finally, Darwin Nunez averages a huge 4 shots per game in the premier league and has had at least 2 shots in every single premier league game he has started for Liverpool so far. Combining these 3 selections gives us a solid betbuilder @ 4/5 and I am happy to stake 1pt on that as our main bet for this game.
Goals are to be expected when these two sides face each other. 9 out of their last 12 games have seen both teams score and this bet landed in this fixture last season when both teams scored in both halves in a 2-2 draw. At a price of 10/1, I am happy to stake a small 0.25pt on that as our longshot for this game.
Best of luck if you follow these selections. Please always gamble responsibly.
