Tottenham vs. Everton Predictions: Kane to find the net in the capital

Spurs vs Everton Odds
Live on Sky Sports, Tottenham host Everton in the premier league at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this Monday at 8pm. The hosts lost their only chance of silverware for this season midweek as they were beaten by Middlesbrough in the 5th round of the FA Cup in dramatic fashion. Conte’s men sit 7th in the league table, 6 points off Arsenal who sit in that all-important 4th Champions League spot. Consistency has been their problem all season and you just can’t predict how this Tottenham side will turn up on a given day. If they are to make a late surge towards the top 4, this will have to change. As for the visitors, it has been a season full of struggle so far. They sit 17th in the league table, just 1 point above the relegation zone so every game from here on must be treated like a final. They were impressive in their 1-0 loss to Manchester City in their last premier league game and were left furious when Rodri’s handball in the penalty area wasn’t penalised in the 2nd half.
General manager of the Professional game match officials Mike Riley later came on and issued an apology but it really was pointless as the damage had been done. They did manage to win their FA Cup 5th round game against Boreham Wood though, qualifying for the quarterfinals where they will be up against Crystal Palace. The visitors have the worst away record in the league, having won just 1 game on their travels all season. However, there have been signs of improvement since Lampard’s arrival as their new coach and they will be hoping to pull off a result against an inconsistent Spurs side. Both teams will be desperate for points and that could result in a competitive and tense affair.
A cracking Monday night premier league clash awaits us and as usual, I have you covered with 2 of my best betting angles included in the preview below:

Spurs vs Everton Tips
- Tottenham Over 1.5 team goals
- Kulusevski Over 0.5 shots in the match
- Over 0 cards in the match for both teams combined
Tottenham have been incredibly inconsistent as of late but Everton are just horrible away from home. The visitors have lost 7 of their last 9 away games and I don’t see that record improving here. I expect Conte’s men to bounce back after their cup defeat away at Middlesbrough and score a couple of goals here against an Everton defence that has conceded 2+ goals in their last 4 games in all competitions against the likes of Newcastle, Norwich, Hull & Southampton. Kulusevski has had 8 shots in 3 starts for Tottenham so far this season and at least 1 shot for him should be a banker here in a game Spurs are expected to dominate. Lastly, we should see some bookings in a game that is hugely significant for both sides so just to boost up the odds I will be adding Over 0.5 cards as I feel this should be another banker. Combining these 3 selections gives us a solid bet builder and I am happy to stake a 1pt on that as our main bet for this premier league clash.
Romero has been booked in three of his last six appearances for Tottenham and is their most booked player in the league with 6 yellow cards to his name. Allan has been booked in four of his last five premier league games and is Everton’s most booked player with six yellow cards to his name. Harry Kane has three goals in his last three appearances for Spurs and should be looking to hit the back of the net again against an Everton defence that are leaking goals on the road. Combining these 3 selections gives us a cracking longshot @ 20/1 and I am happy to stake a very small 0.25pt on that.
