Sunderland vs Leeds Prediction, Odds and Betting Tips: 9/1 Bet Builder for Friday's big Championship clash

We're set for a Championship cracker on Friday night when early pacesetters Sunderland take on 5th-placed Leeds at the Stadium of Light, live on Sky Sports at 8pm.
Sunderland vs Leeds Predictions
Sunderland boast a 100% winning record at home under manager Regis Le Bris, who has overseen four straight wins to nil over Sheffield Wednesday (4-0), Burnley (1-0), Middlesbrough (1-0), and then Derby County (2-0) on Tuesday.
The Black Cats look an attractive price at 9/4 to go on and make it five home wins on the spin as they bid to go four points clear at the top, however, I'm going to err on the side of caution and instead back the hosts at double-chance given the threat posed by fellow promotion rivals Leeds, who have yet to lose on the road this season.
I've combined a Sunderland win or draw with over 3.5 shots on target (SOT) for the hosts, which forms an 11/8 double with BetMGM.
Sunderland are averaging 10.57 shots per game with an average of 5.43 on target. They've fired in 4+ SOT in 86% of their games this season and are the league's top scorers with 16 goals to their name; scoring in every one of their eight matches.

For my long shot, I've sided with three players - Romaine Mundle, Jobe Bellingham, and Largie Ramazani - to have Over 0.5 Shots On Target, priced at 9/1 with BetMGM.
Mundle, a former Spurs academy player, has stepped up to the plate since Jack Clarke's summer switch to Ipswich. He has had a shot on target in his last seven successive Championship matches, during which he's scored three goals. The over 0.5 SOT line has landed in all four of his games at the Stadium of Light this term and he's evens to do so again tonight.
Mundle's teammate Jobe Bellingham has also caught my eye in this market at 29/10 to have at least one shot on target, something he's achieved in both of his last two games. He's had seven shots in his last four matches and his confidence will be high following his first goal of the season against Derby earlier this week - which if you've not seen is well worth a watch.
Finally, I'll be asking the same of Largie Ramazani (19/20) who has impressed since moving from Spain in August. The former Man Utd youth player has scored two goals in three starts for Leeds, racking up seven shots in his last three appearances, including four on target.
Add these three shots on target fancies together and we land on a 9/1 price with BetMGM.
Sunderland vs Leeds Head-To-Head Record
Leeds have won 40 of the duels between the sides, Sunderland are just behind with 35 wins, while 20 games have been drawn.
The Black Cats emerged victorious 1-0 at the Stadium of Light last season, before April's goalless draw at Elland Road.
