Stoke City vs Hull City Prediction, Odds and Betting Tips: Two plays for Friday night's Championship clash
Stoke City will look to kick-start their Championship season under new manager Narcis Pelach who takes charge of the Potters for the first time on Friday night against winless Hull City at the Bet365 Stadium, live on Sky Sports at 8pm.
Stoke City vs Hull City Predictions
Stoke will hope that the appointment of Narcis Pelach will instigate a new manager bounce following an indifferent start to the season under Steven Schumacher who was sacked on Monday after losing three of his opening five league games.
Stoke then squeezed past Fleetwood on penalties in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday and have been favoured by BetMGM at 49/50 to beat a hapless Hull in front of the Sky Sports cameras on Friday night.
Hull are yet to claim a win of any sort under their own new boss Tim Walter who has three points from a possible 15 - plus an early Carabao Cup exit - which leaves the Tigers 22nd in the table with just two goals scored, failing to score in their last three.
Stoke, too, have struggled in front of goal, scoring only three times with their two wins both 1-0 scorelines. This suggests that we could be in store for another low-scoring affair, given that Stoke and Hull's 10 league games combined this season have all gone under 3.5 goals.
Adding this under 3.5 goals line to a Stoke win gives us a more appealing price of 6/4.

While I'm by no means expecting Friday's clash to be a goalfest, if there is a goal then there's a chance that Stoke's Million Manhoef could be involved.
The winger has four goal involvements in eight league and cup matches this season, scoring three goals and registering an assist. He bagged the winner in his side's last victory - 1-0 at Plymouth - and he looks a decent price at 29/20 to claim either a goal or an assist against Hull, who have kept one clean sheet in six matches.
I'm combining this bet with over 3.5 cards in the game to elevate the price to 14/5 with BetMGM. Four of Stoke's last six games in all competitions have contained a 4+ cards, including the mid-week win over Fleetwood which saw the referee dish out seven yellows, four of which were shown to Stoke players. Hull's own card count hasn't been particularly high this term but three of their last four games have still produced 4+ cards with their six opponents this season all accumulating at least two cards.
