Spurs vs Crystal Palace Odds: Two tips for the Boxing Day action
We currently have seven Premier League games scheduled to take place on Boxing Day and we will have previews for all the games on BettingOdds.com. Here we take a look at the 3pm London derby clash at The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium between Spurs and Crystal Palace.
Champions League chasing Tottenham host mid-table Crystal Palace in this intriguing looking London derby. Spurs are bang in form under new boss Antonio Conte; they are unbeaten in five games and have taken 11 points from those matches. Last time out they were very unlucky to draw versus Liverpool and will be expecting to turn over Palace here. Palace, in the meantime, have won only one of their last six and that was against a poor looking Everton side. They'll be hoping inspirational Chelsea loanee Conor Gallagher can spark them back into life here.
Team news:
Spurs have no players missing due to Covid so are only missing the duo of Cristian Romero and Ryan Sessegnon through injury.
Crystal Palace also have no Covid problems and are sweating on the fitness of James McArthur who may return here. Nathan Ferguson definitely misses out.

First up we've got a player prop bet based around Spurs midfielder Pierre-Emile Højbjerg. The 26-year-old Dane is in decent form, scoring two goals in recent weeks and providing an assist in midweek in the League Cup. He's ranked fourth in shots for Spurs and 3rd for shots on target. Since Conte came in, Højbjerg has upped his output. He's managed two shots in 3 of his last four games and 1 shot on target in each of those too.
Paddy Power are top priced at 17/10 for Højbjerg to have 1+shots on target in the 90 minutes.
I tipped this selection up last week as part of a carded double with Ben Davies and thought it was exceptionally unlucky not to land. Davies was shown a yellow and Davinson Sanchez was extremely fortunate not to be cautioned when pushing over Andy Robertson, following his straight red.
Sanchez has made seven fouls in just seven starts and has picked up a yellow card in that time. However, Sanchez is up against the most fouled player in the Premier League, Wilfried Zaha, who has been fouled 50 times thus far - 14 times more than any other player. The 25-year-old Colombian picked up six yellow cards back in 19/20 so he has form for disciplinary issues.
He is 9/2 to be carded at William Hill.
You could always combine the two bets at Paddy Power which pays a fraction over 16/1.
Enjoy the game and remember to bet responsibly.
