Saturday Football Tips: Side with shots for our acca in Gameweek 3 of the Premier League

It’s Gameweek 3 in the Premier League with six matches taking place on Saturday. Here at BettingOdds.com we’ve put together an acca that we like the look of, that pays just under 7/1 and consists of four selections from the shots and shots on target markets.
Acca Tips
We are off to Craven Cottage for our first selection, with Fulham taking on Brentford on the banks of the Thames. The visitors should arrive here on a high after the memorable 4-0 mauling of Manchester United last weekend, and one player who was on the scoresheet in that demolition job was Bryan Mbeumo.
Despite generating 9.7xG across the entirety of last season, the Frenchman only scored four goals, and I’m expecting his output to increase this term looking back at that under-performance. Only 14 players in the division let off more shots last season than the Brentford forward (77), and when looking at his game-by-game data he’s on a run of nine consecutive league matches where he has let off at least two shots! That includes fixtures against Manchester United and Leicester City this season, and with this in mind 4/5 looks a great price for him to do so against a newly promoted side on Saturday.
Aston Villa grabbed themselves a massive three points last weekend as they saw off Everton 2-1 on home soil. Emi Buendia came off the bench on the hour mark and scored Villa’s second goal of the afternoon, letting off two shots in total in his 30 minute cameo.
Steven Gerrard has been reluctant to start the Argentine in his first XI with Philippe Coutinho getting the nod on the majority of occasions. This week however, I’ve a strong feeling that we will see Buendia from the off and looking back at last season, in his final nine league starts of the campaign, he let off 23 shots at an average of 2.55 per game. One of the most creative players at the club and the ability to test keepers from range, we are taking the 4/5 for Buendia to have Over 1.5 shots against Palace, with other firms going much shorter at around 4/9.

James Maddison is one of our favourite players when it comes to betting on shots on target and despite continued speculation about his future, Leicester have a home game against Southampton on Saturday with Maddison expected to feature from the start in his usual attacking role.
Having a shop around for some of his shots on target prices with different firms and there’s quite a discrepancy with bet365 being then stand-out best price at 4/7, compared to just 2/7 over at SkyBet. Only five players registered more shots on target last season and he’s recorded at least one shot on target in his last eight Premier League matches, including the two this term.
Rounding off this shots-based acca is Wilfried Zaha to hit the target once or more at Selhurst Park on Saturday. Patrick Vieira’s talisman put in a strong showing at Anfield on Monday evening with Palace earning a hard fought 1-1 draw. As well as scoring his side's only goal of the match, Zaha registered three shots on target and looking back into last season, he has cleared this line of 1+ in seven of his last eight league appearances for the Eagles.
To recap, that’s Emi Buendia and Bryan Mbeumo to have Over 1.5 shots, along with James Maddison and Wilfried Zaha to have Over 0.5 shots on target, weighing in at just under 7/1 with bet365.
