Saturday Football Tips: 146/1 Acca makes appeal in the Premier League
Seven Premier League games take place on Saturday with the North London derby being the pick of the fixtures. Here at BettingOdds.com we’ve put together some of our best fancies and have combined them into an accumulator which pays 145/1 with bet365.
It’s three players to pick up a card that we have focussed our attention on this week, so we’ll be recommending a trixie, meaning it will be a healthy profit should two of the three selections land.
Acca Tips
First up, we are off to the south coast where Bournemouth take on Brentford. Adam Smith is the first in our trio to find their way into the book this weekend. The Cherries defender was shown four yellow cards in his first four matches after his side returned to the top-flight this season, with only one player in the division having picked up more in Fulham’s Joao Paliniha with five.
Smith is averaging 1.3 fouls per game this term and if we go back a little further he was actually carded six times in 20 appearances in the Championship in 2021/2022. Since the start of last season, Smith has been shown 10 cards in just 27 league appearances and with this in mind, quotes of 15/4 from bet365 look very backable on Saturday.
Next up we are off to the capital where Fulham host Newcastle. The Magpies are in desperate need of a win after failing to take three points from a match since the opening day of the season.
Joelinton is the player we are targeting here and he already has three yellow cards to his name this season. In the previous campaign Joelinton was cautioned on eight occasions, which translates to 11 yellows in his last 35 league appearances. No other player in the league has committed more fouls this season than the Brazilian - with 15 along with Scott McTominay and Boubacar Kamara - and with 15/4 on show again from bet365, this looks a fair price, and one that we are happy to include in our acca.
Rounding off the three is Alexis Mac Allister whose Brighton side travel to Merseyside to take on Liverpool in their first game under new boss Roberto De Zerbi. The Argentinian has bagged four goals so far this season, and although he may be creating a name for himself as one of the best long range shooters in the league, he’s also picked up three bookings in just six matches. An away trip to Liverpool will be a big test for Mac Allister against Thiago, Fabinho and Harvey Ellliot, and at 11/2 he certainly makes some appeal in this market.
Combining those three players to be carded pays 145/1 with bet365, but as mentioned above, we’ll be going a little more conservative and playing the trixie on this trio.
Please gamble responsibly.
