Report: The Astronomical Price of a Romelu Lukaku Shot This Season

BettingOdds.com has conducted a brand new study into every attacking-player in the Premier League to find the footballers with the best and worst value based on their individual performances in the 2021/22 EPL season. The focus of the study has been attack-minded midfielders and forwards who have produced at least ten shots each in their respective campaigns up until April 26, 2022 (indicative of their usage across the Premier League campaign).
The research has found that topping the list of costliest Premier League attackers is Chelsea player Romelu Lukaku, who is estimated to have earned an astonishing Premier League high of £494,397 for every shot that he has produced throughout Chelsea’s 2021/22 EPL campaign so far.
Conversely, Everton’s Anthony Gordon, who was the one bright light for the Toffees in a 2-0 defeat to Liverpool at Anfield last weekend, is the least costly out of all Premier League attackers, with an estimated cost of £2,959 per shot this season, based on his annual salary and stats this season.
The results of the study can be found below and have been broken down into the following categories:
