RB Leipzig vs Aston Villa Prediction, Odds and Lineups: 6/1 treble for tonight's clash
Aston Villa take on RB Leipzig in the Champions League tonight, live on Amazon Prime at 8pm.
RB Leipzig go in search of their first win of the campaign while visiting Villa will hope to return to winning ways after failing to score in their last two games in the competition.
RB Leipzig vs Aston Villa Predictions
John McGinn has registered a shot on target in each of his last three Champions League appearances, totalling four shots on target in this season's competition.
He also found the net in Aston Villa’s 2-0 victory over Bologna and had three shots, two of which were on target, in Saturday's 1-0 win over Southampton.
McGinn will carry that confidence into Tuesday night’s match and will be well-positioned to test the goalkeeper again given RB Leipzig’s poor record in this season’s competition, having lost all five of their matches, including a 3-1 defeat to Celtic.
Having also scored twice for Scotland during November’s international break, the Villa skipper is an attractive price at 29/20 with Midnite to register at least one shot on target.

I’ve put together a three-part Bet Builder that includes RB Leipzig Double Chance, Benjamin Sesko to have 2+ shots on target, and Youri Tielemans to commit 2+ fouls, which is priced at 6/1 with Midnite.
Although RB Leipzig have yet to pick up a point in the 2024/25 Champions League, there are reasons to believe they can carve out a result of sorts on home soil tonight. It's important to note that they've faced some difficult fixtures so far, with narrow defeats to Atletico Madrid, Juventus, Liverpool, and Inter Milan. Domestically, they are sitting comfortably in 4th place, ahead of Borussia Dortmund, and come into Tuesday's match on the back of a 3-0 win over Frankfurt in the cup and a 2-0 triumph over Holstein Kiel in the league.
Aston Villa, on the other hand, started their Champions League campaign with a perfect record of three wins but have since gone off the boil. They have failed to score in their last two games, in a 1-0 defeat to Club Brugge and a goalless draw against Juventus. They’ve also lost their last four away matches across all competitions and were far from convincing in their narrow 1-0 win over bottom-placed Southampton on Saturday.
While Leipzig’s form has been inconsistent, their striker Benjamin Sesko has been a shining light, contributing to 12 goals in 20 games this season, including three in the Champions League. Sesko, who scored in Saturday’s 2-0 win over Holstein Kie, has been a constant threat in the Champions League, registering seven shots on target in his four starts, including two against Liverpool and three against Juventus in Leipzig’s two home matches.
As for Villa's Youri Tielemans, the midfielder is not shy about doing the dirty work to intercept the opposition's flow, having racked up the most fouls for his club in both the Premier League (20) and Champions League (7). He’s likely to be involved in the thick of the action at the Red Bull Arena and is a solid bet to commit at least two fouls.
This combination of RB Leipzig Double Chance, Sesko shots on target, and Tielemans fouls offers great value at 6/1 with Midnite, who are offering new customers £20 free bets and 50 free spins when you sign up today.
