RB Leipzig vs Man City Odds: A trio of selections for the Champions League clash.

We're into the last round of the Champions League group stage and we've asked OddsTerrier to take a closer look at the Group A clash between RB Leipzig and Manchester City.
"It's the most wonderful time of the year...." - We're not talking about Christmas of course, but Pep Roulette!
City have qualified in top spot from this difficult looking Group A which included new European giants PSG and a Leipzig team that in the past two campaigns had made the semis in 19/20 and knocked out City's neighbours United last year. Given this level of comfort and the fact that Guardiola has a virtually full squad to choose from, should mean we see a big rotation in the City starting line up.
That's generally good news from a punting perspective as the usual suspects are rested and some second string gems get the chance to provide us with some serious value. We've scoured the popular markets and player props and have three picks for you including a 8/1 bet builder.
As always, please gamble responsibly.
RB Leipzig vs Man City Tips
Team News:
RB Leipzig - A total of eight players are absent for new interim boss Achim Beierlorzer: Yussuf Poulsen, Marcel Halstenberg, Amadou Haidara, Dani Olmo, Marcelo Saracchi, Ilaix Moriba, Willi Orban and Hugo Novoa.
Man City - Ferran Torres is Pep Guardiola's only injured player. Otherwise he has a full squad to call upon.
City as mentioned have already topped the group and Leipzig need a result here to have a chance of Europa League football. However, even with a heavily rotated squad, I still think City will have enough for Leipzig here. The game is being played behind closed doors due to covid regulations and Leipzig will miss their raucous home support. I think the 10/11 generally available is too big a price even for a 2nd string City side.
Whether City are too strong for Leipzig or not, one thing is for sure. They won't die for lack of trying. They are an incredibly combative team, winning the most duels in the Bundesliga this season. Leading the way with 20 fouls committed is 19-year-old Croat Josko Gvardiol. The left sided central defender hasn't picked up a yellow card this season in the Champions League but has found himself cautioned twice in the German domestic league and I can see him having problems up against Raheem Sterling and Phil Foden tonight.
He's a large 5/1 to be booked here at Unibet and I'll be having a small stake on it.
Our last selection is a little bet builder at value-masters SBK. We have combined the City win with over 2.5 goals and a Sterling anytime goal.
Over 2.5 goals has happened in City's last three Champions league games and the last five for Leipzig. Last time out City were 6-3 victors in a ridiculously entertaining game and I think we could see another goal fest here.
I'm expecting Sterling to start in the false no.9 position for City and he's averaging 2.2 shots per game in the UCL this season, hitting the target on 0.8 of those opportunities. That's higher than his Premier League stats and shows he perhaps enjoys a little more room in the European ties.
The bet builder pays a little over 8/1.
