QPR vs Stoke Odds: Two tips including a 18/1 longshot
Sunday afternoon sees the final game of the game week in the Championship. It's an absolute stonker between two teams bang in form. QPR have stormed up the table into clear 3rd after four wins and two draws in their last six and will be relishing the visit of Stoke at Loftus Road. Their last televised game ended in dramatic last-minute circumstances when Andre Gray performed magic at the edge of the area and smashed it into the top corner to send the visiting fans into delirium for the trip back down the M6.
Stoke have had a little stumble of late. Losing their last two games by the same scoreline - a 1-0 turnover vs Blackburn and Bristol City. This followed three wins versus bottom of the table teams and they might be getting a reputation as flat track bullies. They will be hoping to disprove that here
I have picked out two selections after looking at the betting markets which should hopefully provide some profit.
Qpr vs Stoke Tips
Ilias Chair Anytime Scorer - 3/1 @ bet365
Ben Wilmot & Danny Batth to be shown a card - 18/1 @ betfair
First up in the goal scorer markets we have the ubiquitous Ilias Chair. The 24-year-old Moroccan is a talisman for the R's and not only creates goals but scores them too. He's averaging 2.4 shots a game and exactly 1 shot on target per game.
He's 3/1 to score in the 90 minutes with bet365
I can see QPR overrunning Stoke at the back with the likes of Austin, Chair and Gray all causing havoc. With that in mind I like the pair of Danny Batth and Ben Wilmot to be in real trouble here. They have seven cards between them in only 25 appearances combined. The pair are both around the 7/2 mark to be booked in the game and I'm going to take a small stake on a longshot of them both to be booked.- A 18/1 shot with betfair.
