QPR vs. Blackpool Predictions: Rangers to get back promotion charge back on track

Wednesday night sees six more games taking place in the Championship and we have previews and best bets on site for all the games which you can find in our Championship hub. We have asked our EFL expert @OddsTerrier to check out the game at Loftus Road between Queens Park Rangers and Blackpool and he's picked out his best two bets for the match for you to look over.
QPR vs. Blackpool Tips
QPR badly need three points here, winless in four, with just two points from 12, including three games versus teams from the bottom half of the league. Manager Mark Warburton will be concerned, after a run of seven games without loss, including five wins which dragged the R's up into third in the Championship. With the playoff places so close at the top of the table, it's essential for them to start winning games again quickly.
They face a Blackpool team on a tidy run of form; losing only one of their last seven and steadily rising up to 15th in the table and comfortably away from the relegation zone. Neil Critchley will be hugely encouraged that despite a long injury list, his side continue to churn out impressive results, including creditable draws against Fulham and Coventry and wins over Millwall and Bristol City.
My first selection is flying in the face of the form book as I'm plumping for QPR to win. There is a reason Rangers are up in 4th and Blackpool are down in 15th in the league. They possess better attacking quality in the form of Ilias Chair, Chris Willock, Charlie Austin and should cause problems here, even without their injured top scorer Lyndon Dykes. Rangers rank 6th in the Championship for xG at 1.52 pg whereas Blackpool are way down in 21st with 1.1 xG. This is even more magnified for a home fixture with QPR at 1.7 xG and Blackpool at 0.99 xG.
The evens on offer here for a team in 4th and needing to win is too large for me to ignore.
My second pick is a tasty looking bet builder double featuring two player props.
The first part is based on 24-year-old Chris Willock to provide an assist. The ex-Arsenal academy graduate is joint second in the Championship with 10 assists, behind only John Swift at Reading. Willock is averaging 1.5 key passes per game and with the likes of Chair and Austin alongside him, he's certainly got plenty of firepower to work with. He has been playing wingback in recent games but will be back in an advanced role tonight. In his last five games in the attacking role he notched six assists.
Our second area focuses on the Seasiders centre midfielder Callum Connolly to be carded. The versatile Everton youth has the second most fouls (28) and the joint most yellows (6) for the north west club and has also picked up a red card. Connolly picked up twelve yellow cards in just 55 games for his previous club Fleetwood so this isn't an isolated season.
Paddy Power are top price on both as singles at 3/1 and the combined bet builder pays almost 20/1!
I'll be having a small tickle on that as our longshot.
