PSG vs Brugge Odds: Goals on the menu in Paris

Paris Saint-Germain take on Club Brugge in the final round of Champions League group stage fixtures on Tuesday evening. The game kicks off at 5:45pm in the French capital, with the other game in Group A, RB Leipzig against Manchester City also kicking off at that time.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side will finish as group runners-up whatever the result on Tuesday with Manchester City guaranteed top spot. However, third place is still up for grabs with a place in the Europa League available for Club Brugge if they can better Red Bull Leipzig’s result against Manchester City.
PSG failed to see off Club Brugge in the reverse fixture between the two sides back in September with the points being shared in a 1-1 draw in Belgium. The Parisians have now won just one of their last four matches in all formats but come into this match as strong favourites priced at just 1/3 for the win.
PSG vs Club Brugge Tips
The first of two selections on Tuesday evening comes in the form of a win for the hosts with both teams getting on the scoresheet. At the time of writing BoyleSports are the best price out there with 6/4 on show implying a 40% of this selection landing.
As mentioned earlier, if Club Brugge better Leipzig’s result on Tuesday they will qualify for the knockout stages of the Europa League which can act as a huge incentive for putting in a big performance against PSG. We fancy the visitors to find the net here with Pochettino’s side conceding at least two goals in their last three matches in the Champions League.
However, Club Brugge have conceded at least four goals in their last three in this format, and even with PSG not needing to win this game it’s hard to see the likes of Mbappe and Messi have some joy against this level of opposition. There have been over 2.5 goals scored in nine of Club Brugge’s last ten in all competitions.
For our next pick from Paris, we’ve dipped our toe into the anytime scorer market and it’s worth mentioning that there are some incredible short prices on show for the PSG attackers here with Betfair and Paddy Power going just 4/9 on Lionel Messi finding the net and 8/13 for Kylian Mbappe.
One player who is yet to find the net for PSG in the Champions League this season is Brazilian Marquinhos who can be backed at 6/1 to score against Club Brugge. The central defender scored eight goals for club and country in the 2020/2021 season with three of those coming in the Champions League. In Ligue 1 this term, Marquinhos has scored three goals in 12 appearances and he has scored at least three times in the five most recent league campaigns in France. In Europe it’s six goals in his last 33 and with this in mind and a game where the home side could rack up the goals, 6/1 doesn’t look too bad of a price.
