The Premier League Weekend In Numbers: All the best stats and data from Gameweek 12

There were 30 goals across the eight games in the Premier League on Saturday which was the most on a single day in the competition on a single day with a maximum of eight matches since 2015. We've taken a look at some of the best stats and data from Gameweek 12 in our Premier League weekend in numbers series.
50% - Antonio Rudiger was on the scoresheet for Chelsea this weekend as Thomas Tuchel’s side comfortably dispatched of Leicester at the King Power with a 3-0 victory. Rudiger’s goal was the eighth of his Premier League career and the fourth that has come against Leicester with the German not scoring more than once against any other club. Rudiger had been priced as big as 13/1 with one bookmaker to score anytime with Chelsea relatively unchanged in the league-winner market, priced at 9/4.
7 - After making his debut for England in the most recent international break Crystal Palace's Conor Gallagher provided an assist for Cristian Benteke on Saturday. Patrick Viera’s side managed a point in a 3-3 thriller at Turf Moor with Gallagher now having been involved in more goals than any other English midfielder in the league this term with four goals and three assists.
5 - Maxwell Cornet was also on the scoresheet in Burnley’s meeting with Palace rifling a strike past Vicente Guaita early into the second half. The former Lyon man has now scored five goals in his first six starts since joining the Clarets and has also registered at least one shot on target in all six.

9 - Norwich have now managed back-to-back wins in the Premier League for the first time since 2016 after taking three points at home to Southampton in Gameweek 12. Grant Hanley scored the winner which was his first Premier League goal in 9 years and 324 days. The last time Hanley scored in the league was all the way back in 2011 when he netted at Old Trafford in Blackburn’s 3-2 away win at Old Trafford under Steve Kean. After their win, the Canaries are now 10/3 to avoid the drop this season.
17 - After a humiliating 4-1 defeat at the hands of Watford on Saturday Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was relieved of his duties as Manchester United manager. The Red Devils have taken just 17 points from their opening 12 matches in the league this season. This is their second-worst start to a Premier League campaign, ahead of only 2019-2020 when they had collected 16 points after 12 matches, again under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. After the departure of the Norwegian, United are priced at 6/5 for a top-four finish this season.
6 - Joao Cancelo’s outside of the boot pass provided the assist for Raheem Sterling’s goal for Manchester City against Everton on Sunday. This was the sixth assist for the left-back this season in all competitions, which is as many as he provided in his first two seasons combined. Cancelo was priced at a rather large 6/1 for an assist with William Hill this weekend and is certainly one to keep an eye on in this market with five in his last three starts.
6 - Spurs managed a 2-1 victory over Leeds in Antonio Conte’s first league game in charge of the club. However, Tottenham did not have a shot on target until the second half meaning that until that point, they had gone an incredible six halves of football without managing a single shot on target. This is the first time that this has happened in the Premier League since Opta started recording shot data back in 2003-2004.
7 - Bruno Fernandes ranked third in the league last season for Shots on target with a total of 51 in 37 matches. After failing to hit the target on Saturday against Watford, the Manchester man has now gone 7 games without hitting the target and is one to tread carefully around in the shots markets at the moment.
