Premier League Predictions 2023/24: Gameweek 6 Picks

We have four of our predictors on the case this week, who provide their correct score shouts below.
Premier League Gameweek 6 Tips
Brentford vs Everton
- Saturday 23rd September, Sky Sports Main Event, 5.30pm
It's been another disastrous start for Everton this season and a fairly mixed one for Brentford. The home side come in as big favourites for this one given the struggles Everton have faced. Brentford haven't lost in their last seven games at home but the majority of them have been draws which is a bit of a worrying side.
Everton have actually been better on the road recently than they have at Goodison Park and I actually fancy them to test Brentford here. Brentford seem to always have goals in their games these days but the trend recently is 1-1 and 2-2 draws. I'll be backing the same to happen again here.
Steven McQuillan's Prediction: Brentford 1-1 Everton
Burnley vs Man Utd
- Saturday 23rd September, TNT Sports 1, 8pm
With Man Utd's dismal away record and Burnley picking up their first point of the season on Monday night, the Clarets will feel somewhat self-assured of taking the game to the visitors. Erik ten Hag's men were outclassed in a home defeat to Brighton last weekend, leaving them with just six points after five matches. The loss of Lyle Foster through suspension will be a big miss, but it's a void that Vincent Kompany can fill to help secure his team their first point at Turf Moor.
Luke Hamilton's Prediction: Burnley 1-1 Man Utd
Arsenal vs Spurs
- Sunday 24th September, Sky Sports Main Event, 4.30pm
The cracker for me this week as Chris Kamara would say as I attempt to predict the correct score in the North London Derby. Both teams come in with a blistering start to the season behind them and are locked on 13 points from five matches. Ange Postecoglou has revolutionised Spurs in record time and although they were far from their best last time out against Sheffield United at home but the manner of the late equaliser and winner will have boosted morale still further. Mikel Arteta's Arsenal were best of the rest last season behind the juggernaut of Man City and will look to go one better this season, having started in fine form and star signing Declan Rice slotting in seamlessly. I can't see BTTS not landing here and will go with a narrow home win to end Spurs' unbeaten beginning to the season.
Billy Grimshaw's Prediction: Arsenal 3-2 Tottenham
Sheff Utd vs Newcastle
- Sunday 24th September, Sky Sports Main Event, 4.30pm
One point from a possible 15 is not the return Sheffield United wanted following their return to the Premier League. They will still be wondering how on earth they came away from Spurs empty-handed last weekend, having been 1-0 up in the 97th minute. The winless Blades now face a Newcastle side who have had a mixed start to the new season, but do look back on track after a 1-0 win over Brentford. The visitors travel to Italy in the week for a high-profile clash against AC Milan, however, they have the quality to juggle an increased fixture list. Sheff Utd have lost four of their five games by a one-goal margin, and I see a similar outcome on Sunday.
Jack Kitson's Prediction: Sheff Utd 1-2 Newcastle
