Jarrod Bowen - 10+ Goals and 10+ Assists
West Ham finished the 2021/2022 season in 7th place with Player’s Player of the Year Jarrod Bowen being a key man for the Hammers during the season in which the 25 Year-Old netted 12 and assisted 10 times across the Premier League season which are his best numbers to date for the club.
Jarrod made his full England debut over the summer in the UEFA Nations League which is another great achievement in his career as he looks to turn it up a gear for West Ham United in the 2022/2023 campaign with a top 6 spot not a million miles away.
First of all, the price available for Bowen to score and assist double figures in both goals and assists as he did last campaign seems fairly reasonable at 7/4. The addition of Gianluca Scamacca will provide plenty more attacking threat for the London club with Bowen and the Italian set to make an exciting partnership.
The 6’5 forward bagged 16 times in 36 Serie A appearances for Sassuolo last time out however he failed to provide a single assist in that time but David Moyes was still very keen to complete a deal with the Italian club. The added goal threat will be a bonus to Bowen in terms of hitting better numbers in terms of goals and assists.
Only Liverpool duo Mo Salah and Trent Alexander Arnold registered more assists that Jarrod Bowen last season with three other players also finishing on exactly 10. If the Englishman can replicate the numbers he managed in his previous campaign he could quite possibly be within a shout of achieving the most assists.
Jarrod Bowen - Most Assists
There is no doubting Bowen’s class and eagerness to improve year on year, with a ‘Top 6’ club most likely to snap him up in the next few years he’ll want to continue hitting double figure statistics in the Premier League. With bet365 offering 25/1, 3 places each way at ¼ it for sure looks a worthwhile season long bet that could go the distance.
Bowen played in 36 matches in the Premier League last season and all 38 in the season before which is vital when committing to a bet that would also require a player to be active for a huge majority of the competition. I’d expect Bowen to be one of the first names on the team sheet for David Moyes in every game he’s available for.
In what should be another strong season for West Ham getting on side with one of their go to men could work out to be a success, he’s yet to reach his prime but small improvements from last season on his attacking numbers could allow us to be bang on the money. The addition of Scamacca will be a huge benefit to Jarrod, personally, and I feel these two could do some damage against defences at all ends of the table throughout the season.
