Nottingham Forest vs. QPR Predictions: Sam Surridge to be amongst the goals

There is a full raft of Championship fixtures midweek and we've asked OddsTerrier to take a look at the fixture between play off rivals Nottingham Forest and Queens Park Rangers and he's picked out his best two picks for your perusal.
Nottingham Forest vs. QPR Tips
Nottingham Forest enter this fixture in great form, unbeaten in six in the league and into the Quarter Finals of the FA Cup for the first time since 1996. Manager Steve Cooper has done a superb job of galvanising a side that were bottom of the league when he was appointed and dragging them to the outskirts of the playoffs. They host a QPR side that had been on an iffy run of form - winning just one in eight - before a great comeback 2-1 victory over Luton Town last time out. Their early season form ensure that they are still ensconced firmly in the top four and still maintaining hopes of a late automatic promotion push.
Forest are without several key players in Philip Zinckernagel, Lewis Grabban, Max Lowe and Steve Cook.
QPR are missing Dion Sanderson through suspension and are sweating on the fitness of Lyndon Dykes through injury.
I can see this one being a tight affair and would probably side with Forest in the match odds but don't really like them at odds on. I have instead concentrated on a couple of player props I like the look of.
The first is Nottingham Forest's young striker Sam Surridge, who they picked up from Stoke for a couple of million quid in the January transfer window. The 23-year-old has only started 10 games over all comps this year and has picked up six goals. He has netted in his last two games, however, and looks like a man really enjoying his football at the City Ground. He is industrious and brave in the tackle and puts his body on the line.
The second pick is a fairly obvious one. QPR defender Robert Dickie not only leads his club in fouls and yellow cards but also leads the league in cautions with 11 from just 34 games. Surprisingly he is priced at a generous 12/5 to be carded again here.
You can also double up the two selections at Betfair which pays just short of 12/1.
Good luck if you are following and remember to gamble responsibly.
