Next Rangers Manager Odds: Updated names in the frame for the Gers Job

Rangers remain on the hunt for new permanent manager after the 11-month tenure of Michael Beale came to an end at the start of October.
Steven Davis has since been overseeing the first team on an interim basis, while an assortment of managers have been thrown into the mix for the full-time job at Ibrox.
We've taken an updated look at the runners and riders below...
Philippe Clement: 6/4
Phillipe Clement is now the frontrunner for the job with most bookmakers.
The Belgian boss is currently out-of-work and boasts a strong resume which includes Champions League football and three Belgian league titles with Genk and Club Brugge, while he most recently finished third in Ligue 1 with Monaco.
It's believed that the tactically versatile boss has held talks with CEO James Bisgrove and chairman John Bennett, and is keen on taking over, so it's perhaps no surprise that he's in pole position to replace Michael Beale, with a number of bookmakers now pricing him at odds-on.
However, one potential thorn in the side for Rangers are rumours that Clement is weighing up an offer from Saudi Arabia.
Kevin Muscat: 13/8
The former Rangers treble-winner remains a red-hot contender with all betting sites, as has been the case since the market first opened its doors.
This is despite Muscat vowing to deliver another title for his current club Yokohama F. Marinos.
The Aussie began his managerial career in his homeland with Melbourne Victory - he succeeded Ange Postecoglou - where he won two A-League Championships - including a double with the Premiership - as well as the FFA Cup.
A disappointing six-month spell would follow at Sint-Truiden in Belgium, however, since the summer of 2021 he's held the managerial position at Yokohama F. Marinos - once again he replaced Postecoglou - and won the J1 League last year.
If Muscat was to make a similar impact at Rangers as Postecoglou did at Celtic, then The Gers could have unearthed their own managerial gem.
Nenad Bjelica: 14/1
Former Dinamo Zagreb boss Nenad Bjelica has entered into the betting at 14/1.
The 52-year-old has won league titles in Croatia and Austria, while he's also managed in Poland, Italy, and most recently in Turkey at Trabzonspor where he won eight games and lost eight games, before leaving his post this week.
One to keep an eye for sure.
John Eustace: 16/1
The odds on John Eustace becoming Rangers manager were slashed from 20/1 to the even-money favourite in the aftermath of his surprise departure from Birmingham earlier this week.
Eustace had enjoyed a fine start to the season with Birmingham, who are 6th in the Championship with 18 points from their opening 11 games.
"Unfortunately, following a series of meetings over a number of months, it became clear that there was a misalignment with the leadership of the Club," Birmingham City CEO Garry Cook revealed in an open letter to fans. "When this happens, the best thing to do is to part company."
Birmingham have since gone on to appoint Wayne Rooney, while the Eustace-to-Rangers speculation has cooled somewhat, with the 43-year-old's odds lengthening to 16/1.
Steven Davis: 20/1
If interim Steven Davis had a slight outside chance of getting the permanent gig, that bubble likely burst after a 2-1 defeat to Limassol in his first game in charge.
He did bounce back with a 3-0 win at St Mirren, but with Rangers likely to appoint an external name during the international break, Davis' chances appear remote.
He's previously stated that he has ambitions of getting the Rangers job, although it may have arrived too soon on this occasion.
Kjetil Knutsen: 25/1
When the market first opened, Kjetil Knutsen once again featured in the betting for an Old Firm vacancy, having been linked to both Rangers and Celtic in the past.
FK Bodø/Glimt manager since 2018, the Norwegian has won two Eliteserien titles, a tally that he's currently bidding to elevate to three winners' medals.
Known for his attacking style of play, Knutsen famously beat Jose Mourinho's Roma 6-1 and also booted Celtic out of the Europa Conference League (5-1 on aggregate), a result which no doubt went down pretty well in the blue half of Glasgow.
However, Knutsen has since drifted out to 25/1.
Frank Lampard: 33/1
Frank Lampard is looking to revive his career following jobs at Everton and Chelsea (caretaker) last season.
Admittedly, his recent record doesn't make for great reading: two league wins from his last 21 games in charge of the above two clubs.
While at one stage he was leading the betting to follow in the footsteps of Steven Gerrard by taking the Rangers job, the Daily Telegraph broke the story that the former England midfielder would not be taking over, which has seen him drift right out to 33/1.
