Next Leicester Manager Odds: Contenders to lead the Foxes in the Championship

It's now been over two weeks since Leicester City's relegation was confirmed on the final day of the 2022/23 Premier League season, yet the club has still yet to give any indication as to who will be leading their Championship charge next season.
Bookmakers have subsequently reopened the next Leicester manager market, which we've taken a look at in more detail below...
Next Leicester Manager Odds - Next Permanent Leicester Manager
Enzo Maresca has emerged as the new favourite in the betting to lead Leicester City next season.
The highly-rated Man City assistant was being hotly linked to Celtic - a job he was the frontrunner for - however, it now appears that the Hoops could reappoint Brendan Rodgers.
Maresca has just enjoyed a memorable first season working as Guardiola's assistant, helping Man City win a famous treble.
It's now being reported by the Daily Record that the Foxes have already interviewed the Italian in the aftermath of City's Champions League triumph, which has resulted in bookmakers' cutting his odds to just 8/15.
Scott Parker, 3/1, is the second name in the betting which would see him return to the Championship, where he's previously won promotions with Fulham and Bournemouth.
After losing his job at Bournemouth in August following that 9-0 drubbing at Liverpool, Parker sought solace abroad in Belgium at Club Brugge, which allowed him to add "Champions League manager" to his CV.
Yet, just 12 games later - including a heavy 5-1 Champions League defeat to Benfica - the club abruptly pulled the plug on the partnership.
A return to home comforts is likely to suit the Englishman, who is also being linked with fellow Championship new boys Leeds United.
Up next is the manager who appears to still be in charge of Leicester, interim Dean Smith, who can be backed at 9/1 to be handed a permanent contract at the King Power.
Smith replaced Brendan Rodgers in April but was unable to keep his charges in the Premier League following a return of two wins in eight matches.
In truth, it does seem like Leicester are considering external options, otherwise they would surely have given Smith the job by now.
However, should they fail to land any of their main targets in the next couple of weeks, the former promotion-winner with Aston Villa could get the nod on a full-time basis.
Other managers that feature include Kieran McKenna (12/1) who has won widespread plaudits for the job he's doing at Ipswich Town - a club that will join the Foxes in the Championship next season - with Steven Gerrard and Austrian Adi Hutter both priced at 14/1.
25/1 outsiders include Patrick Vieira and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, while Graham Potter has drifted out to 50/1.
Whoever the club opts for, supporters will hope that a decision is made sharpish given that the futures of so many of their star players are up in the air.
