Middlesbrough vs. Spurs Predictions: Back both teams to score in this FA Cup 5th round clash

Live on BBC One, Middlesbrough host Tottenham in this FA Cup 5th round clash at the Riverside stadium this Tuesday at 7.55pm.
The hosts come into this all important cup game in mixed form having won 2 of their last 4 league games. They have struggled on the road with no win in 5 but have been extremely impressive at the Riverside stadium winning their last 7 consecutive home games in a row.
They overcame Manchester United in the last round on penalties in what was an efficient performance and will be confident of putting up a fight against Tottenham in front of their own supporters.
Middlesbrough v Spurs Tips
Conte’s men come into this game off the back of a stunning 4-0 win over Leeds United which led to Bielsa’s sacking.
Tottenham’s problem is their inconsistency, having won 6 and lost 6 of their last 12 games in all competitions. They did the unthinkable by beating Manchester City 3-2 at the Etihad but then followed that up by a 1-0 loss against a poor Burnley side. This is why one can never confidently predict games involving Spurs and this is something Antonio Conte will be looking to improve upon.
This is the visitors only chance of landing any silverware this season so expect their strongest possible lineup to play in what is expected to be a tense and competitive affair.
An intriguing FA Cup tie awaits us and as usual, I have you covered with 2 of my best betting angles included in the preview below:
Team News:
Marc Bola is out for Middlesbrough, no other injuries or suspensions.
Bentancur, Tanganga, Skipp & Lucas Moura are out for Tottenham.
Middlesbrough possible starting lineup:
Lumley; Dijksteel, Fry, McNair; Jones, Crooks, Howson, Tavernier, Taylor; Balogun, Sporar
Tottenham possible starting lineup:
Lloris; Sanchez, Dier, Davies; Emerson, Winks, Hojbjerg, Reguilon; Kulusevski, Kane, Son
Middlesbrough and Tottenham have both seen this bet land in both the 3rd and 4th round games of their FA Cup campaign this season.
Boro have scored in their last 9 consecutive games at home and will fancy their chances against an inconsistent Spurs side that has only kept 2 clean sheets in their last 9 games in all competitions. This bet has also landed the last 2 times these teams have met each other including their FA Cup 3rd round meeting in 2020.
The visitors are in fine scoring form at the moment with Kane and Son both in supreme touch and they should also find the back of the net here against a Middlesbrough side who have conceded at least 1 goal in their last 6 consecutive games in all competitions.
The stats heavily point towards another BTTS bet and we will stick to basics and back it with a 1pt stake as our main bet for this huge cup game.
Matt Crooks averages the most fouls (1.7) and the most tackles (2.2) in this Boro squad. He is also their most booked player with 10 yellow cards to his name and I can see him picking up another booking in this tense affair against a tough premier league opposition.
It has been an incredible start to Kulusevski’s Tottenham career with 2 goals and 1 assist in just 3 appearances for his new club. In this period he has scored against Manchester City and recently against Leeds both away from home. He has re-energised this Tottenham side and I am expecting him to contribute with another goal here in the FA Cup.
Combining these 2 selections gives us a cracking longshot double @ 14/1 and I am happy to stake a very small 0.25pt stake on that.
