Man Utd vs. Tottenham Betting Tips: Two tips for this Wednesday night cracker

Live on Sky Sports, Manchester United host Tottenham in the Premier League this Wednesday at the Old Trafford Stadium.
Man Utd vs Spurs Tips
The hosts sit fifth in the league table with 16 points and a game in hand over their opponents Tottenham. After getting beaten by Brighton at home on the opening day of the season, Manchester United are since unbeaten in front of their supports having beaten the likes of Arsenal and Liverpool here already.
They were held to a 0-0 draw by Newcastle at the weekend but will be going into this fixture with confidence. They have been dominant over Tottenham in recent history, winning in last three league games against them, and also beating them 3-2 in this fixture last season.
As for the visitors, they currently sit third in the table with 23 points and are level on points with Champions Manchester City. It has been a great season for Conte’s men so far and they will be looking to make it four wins in a row in all competitions when they head to Old Trafford. Their away record against the top 6 still remains a concern but they will be hoping to put out a statement by going to Old Trafford and picking up all 3 points.
A mouth-watering Premier League clash awaits us, and as usual I have you covered with 2 of my best betting angles for this game included in the preview below:
Team News:
Donny Van de Beek, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Harry Maguire & Brandon Williams are out for Manchester United while Eriksen & Martial are doubtful.
Richarlison, Tanganga & Emerson Royal are out for Spurs while Kulusevski is doubtful.
Man United possible starting lineup:
De Gea; Dalot, Varane, Martinez, Malacia; Casemiro, McTominay; Antony, Fernandes, Sancho; Rashford
Tottenham possible starting lineup:
Lloris; Romero, Dier, Davies; Doherty, Hojbjerg, Bissouma, Bentancur, Perisic; Son, Kane
- Over 0 goals in the match for Man United
- Over 0 cards in the 2nd half for Tottenham
- Antony Over 0.5 shots in the match
Manchester United have scored at least 1 goal in six of their last seven league games. They have had no problems scoring goals against the top 6 sides, scoring three goals each against Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City already this season. The reds have also scored against Spurs in their last eight consecutive meetings in all competitions and all stats point towards them finding the back of the net again here.
As for the cards, we have Simon Hooper in charge and although he is not the most card-happy referee, this will be a high intensity game full of cynical fouls, which will push him to dish out the cards specially in the second half. Tottenham are averaging 2 cards per game so far this in the league and I expect them to pick up another yellow card in the second half regardless of which side is leading.
As for the final part of the bet-builder, I am going with Antony to get at least one shot in the game. He is averaging 3.5 shots per game so far this season. He has hit 4,2,4 and 3 shots in his four league appearances so far scoring three goals, so at least one shot from him should be a banker as he looks to be in great form at the moment. Combining these three selections gives us a solid bet-builder @ 19/20 and I am happy to stake 1pt on that as our main bet for this game.
Antony has been in fine goalscoring form since joining from Ajax and has been Manchester United’s biggest attacking threat. He has scored three goals in just four appearances, bagging a goal each against Arsenal, Manchester City & Everton. He is United’s joint top scorer and will be a huge threat again against Spurs.
Bentancur averages the most tackles (2.6) and most fouls (1.6) per game from the Tottenham squad and is also their most booked player with three yellow cards to his name in nine appearances. Combining these two selections gives us a cracking longshot @ 14/1 and I am happy to stake a very small 0.25pt on that as our second bet for this massive game.
Best of luck if you follow these selections. Please always gamble responsibly.
