Man Utd vs. Newcastle Utd Betting Tips: Back Bruno to assist in Carabao Cup final

The Carabao Cup final takes place on Sunday afternoon at Wembley and here at BettingOdds, we've provided you with a preview for the game and our two best bets from Tipster Wizard.
Erik ten Haag’s men are having a splendid season as they sit just five points off top spot in the Premier League and came from behind to beat Barcelona in the Europa League midweek to qualify for the round of 16 stages.
Man United have now won 16 of their last 20 games in all competitions and are heading into this final full of confidence. The Red Devils have won five of their nine EFL Cup finals so far at Wembley Stadium and another win here will help them end their six-year wait for silverware.
As for Newcastle, they are also having an impressive season as they sit fifth in the table, just one point off the Champions League spots with a game in hand.
However, this is a massive opportunity to win domestic silverware after a long wait of 68 years and the Magpies will be highly motivated to add the EFL Cup to their fantastic season of progress.
An exciting cup final awaits us, and as usual I have you covered with two of my best betting angles below:
Team News:
Anthony Martial, Donny van de Beek & Eriksen are out for Manchester United while Rashford is doubtful.
Nick Pope, Emil Krafth & Martin Dubravka are out for Newcastle while Joelinton & Willock are doubtful.
Manchester United possible starting lineup:
De Gea; Wan-Bissaka, Varane, Martinez, Shaw; Casemiro, Fred; Antony, Fernandes, Sancho; Rashford
Newcastle United possible starting lineup:
Karius; Trippier, Schar, Botman, Burn; Longstaff, Guimaraes, Joelinton; Almiron, Wilson, Saint-Maximin
Man Utd vs Newcastle Tips
Manchester United have now won 16 of their last 20 games in all competitions and the midweek win over Barcelona will give their confidence a huge boost going into this cup final.
With Newcastle missing their first choice goalkeeper Nick Pope, and suffering a dip in form winning just four of their last 11 games in all competitions, I have to fancy ten Hag’s men to add the EFL Cup trophy to their cabinet.
As for the second selection, Bruno Fernandes is averaging 3.3 shots per game in the League Cup, letting off at least one shot in all four cup appearances. Combining these two selections gives us a solid betbuilder @ 4/5 with bet365.
Marcus Rashford is in supreme goalscoring form this season and is Manchester United’s top scorer with 24 goals in all competitions. He has scored six goals in his last six appearances for his club and will be United’s biggest attacking threat.
Bruno Fernandes has eight assists for his club this season and three of those have come in his last two appearances. We could very well see this bet win with Bruno supplying Rashford for a goal and at 6/1, I am happy to take it as our second bet for this cup final.
Best of luck if you follow these selections. Please always gamble responsibly.
