Man United vs West Ham Prediction and Betting Tips: Bowen to find the net in 15/1 Bet Builder
Manchester United host West Ham at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon and we’ve once again called upon the services of Anthony Eadson to provide us with his best betting angles for the game.
Erik ten Hag’s side scored a dramatic 97th minute winner at Molineux on Thursday as they came away 4-3 winners against Wolves. It was a barnstorming second-half for the neutral, however United remain seventh in the Premier League table, eight points behind Tottenham in fourth. The Red Devils have only won four of their last nine home league matches and can be backed at 8/13 with most betting sites to get the better of West Ham.
Heading into the weekend The Hammers sit one point and one place above Sunday’s opponent in the table, currently occupying sixth. David Moyes’ men were also in action on Thursday but could only manage a 1-1 draw against Bournemouth. West Ham managed wins on the road at Tottenham and Arsenal in December and are chalked-up at 4/1 to collect the three points at Old Trafford.
Man United vs West Ham Tips
My main play on Sunday is for both teams to score along with Vladimir Coufal to give away 1+ foul, which is available at 11/8 with either Sky Bet or bet365. West Ham have earned 17 points from their 11 away league games so far this season (W5 D2 L4), already five more than they earned on the road in the whole of last season (W3 D3 L13).
Some of their strongest showings have arrived away from The London Stadium, scoring at least two goals in five of their last six away games. In contrast, Manchester United have conceded multiple goals in their last three top-flight outings at Old Trafford and after their game featured seven goals on Thursday, both teams to score looks likely here.
I’ll also be adding Vladmir Coufal to give away a foul to both teams to score. The Hammers right-back always adopts a no-nonsense attitude and when it comes to fouls, he has given away at least one in 9 of his last 10 league games.

The first half consists of Jarrod Bowen to score anytime. Dominic Solanke is the only Englishman to score more in the Premier League this season than Bowen who has managed 11 goals in total. Taking a closer look and Bowen has scored in seven of his 10 away league matches this season and it would be no surprise to see him score against a United side who have conceded 11 goals across their last five.
No player has been shown more yellow cards this season for The Hammers than Emerson. The left-back should be in for a good battle up against Alejandro Garnacho on Sunday and makes plenty of appeal to be carded at 9/2 considering he has six already this campaign. Combining Bowen to score and Emerson to be carded pays 15/1 at the time of writing.
