Man City vs Chelsea Bet Builder Tips
Not only did Erling Haaland score his first Premier League goal since 25th November last weekend but his brace also ensured his side claimed all three points in an awkward home encounter with Everton. Despite missing five games due to a stress fracture, the big Norwegian remains the Premier League top scorer having tucked away 16 goals in 18 appearances, with two of those coming in that 4-4 barnburner with Chelsea almost three months ago.
With Conor Gallagher now assuming a more advanced role for Chelsea, he's a tempting proposition in the anytime goalscorer market. After going 28 matches without a goal this campaign, the boisterous midfielder has hit three goals in six days, with two of those coming against his former club Crystal Palace on Monday Night Football. Gallagher has let off 10 shots since becoming an attacking midfielder for The Blues and registered two shots on target in the reverse fixture.
Phil Foden has really hit his stride this season, earning Pep Guardiola's trust from the off in 21 out of 23 league games. Only Haaland has produced more shots on target for Man City than Foden's tally of 25, with five of those coming in his last two outings. Having been successful in five of the last six and in 15 of 23 for a shot on target this term, we're confident Foden can meet this line once more.
Finally, Julian Alvarez's output experienced a drop off over October and November but has recently picked back up with the Argentine producing four goals in his last six matches. Alvarez has been a reliable source for both shots and shots on target, striking 65 and 30 respectively - second to only Haaland. The 24-year-old has had 2+ in four of his last seven, with the Everton game breaking his streak of three for this leg of the bet.
