Man City v Leeds Tips: Aguero to find the target at the Etihad

Live on BT Sport, Manchester City host Leeds in the early kickoff on Saturday at 12.30pm. The league title is almost wrapped up for Guardiola’s men so the focus is on getting past Dortmund in the Champions League.
Even though they will be expected to ease past Leeds, this could prove to be a tricky fixture. The Whites are coming into this game full of confidence after back to back PL wins and a “nothing to lose” mentality could help them put up a fight here against the league leaders.
Team News:
Manchester City have a fully fit squad. Adam Forshaw is unfit for Leeds while Jack Harrison is not eligible to play against his parent club.
Manchester City possible starting lineup:
Ederson, Walker, Dias, Laporte, Mendy, Silva, Fernandinho, Gundogan, Jesus, Sterling, Aguero
Leeds United possible starting lineup:
Meslier; Ayling, Llorente, Cooper, Alioski; Costa, Phillips, Raphinha, Dallas, Roberts; Bamford
This bet has landed in 5 of City’s last 6 home games. Considering they will have one eye on the return leg of the UCL quarter finals, I expect Leeds to take advantage and find the back of the net here. Leeds also scored in the reverse leg against Manchester City and will take confidence from their 2 wins in a row coming into this one.
They have already scored away from home against the likes of Chelsea, Everton, Manchester United, Leicester and Everton and given that Manchester City should be a banker to score at least once, this looks like a cracking bet for a 1pt stake.
Fernandinho has picked up 5 cards in his last 6 games and is known for cynical fouls and to break up counter attacks. 4/1 is a big price for him to be booked again against an energetic Leeds side and I am happy to have this as my second pick for a 0.5pt stake.
Both Aguero and Bamford should lead the line for City and Leeds respectively. It is expected to be an open and end to end game so there is a great chance for both of them to hit the target at least twice.
11/1 with Betfair’s odds boost looks a good price and I am happy to have a small 0.25pt stake on that.
