Man City Quadruple Odds 22/23: Pep's side have won at least two trophies in three of the last five seasons

It’s five weeks to the day that the new Premier League season begins, in what will be a rather strange campaign with a winter World Cup wedged in the middle of the fixture list. Manchester City have won at least two trophies in three of the last five seasons and today we’ve decided to take a look at their prices to win multiple trophies in 2022/2023, including their quadruple odds. 

After scoring three goals in the space of five minutes to come back from two goals down on the final day of the Premier League season, Manchester City lifted the trophy in one of the most dramatic final day finishes you are likely to see. Pep’s all-stars may have only won one piece of silverware last season, but it could be argued that their squad looks even stronger for the forthcoming season after some smart business this Summer.

The marquee signing of course at the Etihad in this window is Erling Haaland. The 21-year-old Norwegian forward scored 62 goals in 67 appearances for Borussia Dortmund and with City now having an out and out striker after the departures of Sergio Aguero and Gabriel Jesus, their attack appears to be one of the most complete in world football.

Kalvin Phillips is another young arrival who will add quality to an already outrageously talented squad, with the Leeds midfield set to complete a transfer across the M62 in the next few days. Argentinian attacker Julien Alvarez also looks like an exciting prospect, and there’s no denying that the six-time Premier League champions have the strength in depth to be able to challenge in all four competitions.

Carabao Cup - 7/2

At the the time of writing bookmaker Unibet are a stand-out top price of 7/2 on Manchester City winning the League Cup, with most other firms taking a slightly more conservative approach at 11/4. Prior to last season, the Cityzens have dominated this competition in recent years winning four consecutive renewals between 2018 and 2021. In total, Guardiola's men have won six of the last nine League Cups, and with their so-called ‘second-string’ so much stronger than any other side, we wouldn’t put anyone off taking the 7/2 for them to lift the trophy in February.

FA Cup - 4/1

Despite their spending over the last decade, Manchester City have only won the FA Cup once in the last ten years. That win came back in 2019 when they defeated Watford 6-0 in the final, with the manager often putting emphasis on Europe and the Premier League at that stage of the season. The Champions League is the trophy that is desired the most by the Manchester City players and fans. The trophy that they have never won before, and the one that has eluded them over recent years. Karim Benzema and Vincius Junior dumped City out of the competition last season in a thrilling semi-final against Real Madrid, but now with the added bonus of Erling Haaland in attack, could City be ready to join Europe's elite teams and lift the Champions League. Adding this trophy would cap a remarkable period in Manchester for Pep Guardiola, but we have to admit, 3/1 to win a competition of this magnitude considering their recent record, does look very short.
