Liverpool vs Real Madrid Predictions: 33/1 Bet Builder for Champions League final
Live on BT Sports, Liverpool go head to head against Real Madrid in the Champions League Final this Saturday at the Stade France Stadium in Paris.
Klopp’s men are having a brilliant season having already won the FA Cup & the League cup and will be looking to add another major trophy by trying to beat the Spanish giants Real Madrid to win the Champions League. They are unbeaten in their last 18 games in all competitions and overcame Villarreal 5-2 on aggregate in the semi-finals to reach here.
Liverpool v Real Madrid Tips
As for Real Madrid, they were outplayed in many knockout games including the Round of 16 against PSG, quarter-finals against Chelsea as well as the semi-finals against Manchester City.
Despite that, they found the mental strength to produce moments of magic and late winners to get to the final and it would be hard to bet against them not repeating that again.
They won the Spanish League at the end of April so have had the chance to rest players leading up to this fixture and that could potentially be considered an advantage with Liverpool still having some doubts regarding the availability of key players including Fabinho and Thiago.
However, both of them have trained and considering how important they are for Klopp’s side, I expect them to start. Liverpool are looking for revenge after their 2017 defeat in the Champions League final against Real Madrid and we could be in for a heated 90 minutes in Paris.
A mouth-watering Champions League final awaits us and as usual, I have you covered with two of my best betting angles included in the preview below plus a special bonus bet using Bet365's £5 free bet offer:
Team News:
Divock Origi is out for Liverpool while Thiago, Fabinho & Joe Gomez are doubtful.
Miguel Gutierrez is out for Real Madrid while David Alaba & Gareth Bale are doubtful.
Liverpool possible starting lineup:
Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Konate, Van Dijk, Robertson; Henderson, Fabinho, Thiago; Salah, Mane, Diaz
Real Madrid possible starting lineup:
Courtois; Carvajal, Militao, Alaba, Mendy; Kroos, Casemiro, Modric; Valverde, Benzema, Vinicius Jr
- Over 1.5 offsides in the match for Real Madrid
- Luis Diaz Over 1.5 shots in the match
Liverpool are known for their high line catching opponents offside and Vinicius will be looking to target this high line and playing right at the edge making runs in behind. Liverpool have caught their opponents offside at least two times in their last 10 consecutive Champions League games and should do so again here in this final.
For the second part, Luis Diaz has had at least two shots in his last five out of six Champions League games for Liverpool, the only exception being the home leg against Inter Milan where he only played seven minutes and still got one shot away.
He loves to shoot from distance and will be looking to make his mark in this massive final after having a splendid season for Liverpool so far.
Combining these two selections gives us a cracking bet builder and I am happy to stake 1pt on that as our main bet for this huge clash.
Trent has been booked twice in eight appearances in the Champions League so far this season and will be up against the pacy Vinicius.
He loves to bomb forward for Liverpool and I can see him making a cynical foul on Vinicius to pick up a yellow card at some point during the game and at 4/1, I think this bet presents us with great value.
I will take this with a small 0.25pt stake as my 2nd bet for the final.
- Karim Benzema anytime goalscorer
- Carlos Casemiro BOOKED
- Trent Over 2.5 tackles
- Over 3.5 offsides in the match for Real Madrid
Benzema has been the best player in Europe this season scoring 51 goals with 15 of those coming in the Champions League. Having scored hat-tricks against Chelsea and PSG in the quarterfinals and round of 16 as well as scoring a brace in the semi-final against Manchester City, he will be a massive favourite to get another goal here.
With 16 yellow cards, Casemiro is Madrid’s most booked player and also averages the most fouls and tackles for the Spanish Champions.
Trent will be up against the tricky Vinicius and that should naturally result in more tackles for TAA.
Having already talked about the offsides under my main bet above, I am going for a higher line in my longshot.
Combining these four selections gives us a huge longshot @ 33/1 that we can back with the free £5 bet given to us by bet365 for the final.
