Liverpool vs. Cardiff Predictions: Two bets for FA Cup 4th round clash at Anfield

Live on ITV, Liverpool host Cardiff in this FA Cup 4th round clash at Anfield this Sunday at 12pm.
The hosts come into this fixture after a 2 week break from competitive football winning their last game 3-1 at Crystal Palace in the league.
They overcame Shrewsbury 4-1 in the 3rd round of the FA Cup and now face another lower league opposition in the form of Championship side Cardiff City.
The visitors are having a poor season so far struggling near the relegation zone but have recently turned a corner by winning 2 league games in a row against Forest & Barnsley after a winless run of 7 games in all competitions.
They have 4 players cup-tied for this clash as well as a number of injury doubts so a daunting task awaits them as they visit Anfield.
Even without Salah and Mane, the hosts will be expected to prevail comfortably at home considering Cardiff have some key absences here as well.
Liverpool v Cardiff Tips
An exciting FA Cup clash awaits us and as usual I have you covered with my 2 best betting angles for this game included in the preview below:
Team News:
Salah & Sadio Mane are out for Liverpool while Alisson, Fabinho, Thiago, Luis Diaz & Divock Origi are doubtful.
Max Watters, Cody Drameh, Alfie Doughty & Ikpeazu are all cup tied so won’t feature for Cardiff while Sean Morrison, Curtis Nelson & Joe Ralls are doubtful.
Liverpool possible starting lineup:
Kelleher; Bradley, Konate, Van Dijk, Tsimikas; Oxlade-Chamberlain, Henderson, Jones; Gordon, Firmino, Minamino
Cardiff possible starting lineup:
Phillips; Flint, Vaulks, McGuinness; Ng, Pack, Wintle, Bagan; Colwill, Doyle; Hugill
Liverpool v Cardiff Odds
Roberto Firmino has not had as much game time as he would like this season but he still has 4 goals in 6 Premier League starts for Liverpool so far this season. He also scored a fine back heel goal in the previous round against Shrewsbury in the 26 minutes that he came on for and is expected to start here.
Considering Liverpool are heavy favourites to advance, I am taking their main man Firmino to get on the scoresheet @ 6/5 with a 1pt stake as our main bet for this all important FA Cup 4th round clash.
Kaide Gordon impressed against Shrewsbury in this competition in the 3rd round scoring a fine goal and will be given another chance again here against Cardiff and could very well get on the scoresheet again.
Marlon Pack is Cardiff’s most booked player with 6 yellow cards to his name and also averages the most fouls in this Cardiff side (1.8).
Combining these 2 selections gives us a cracking long shot double @ 9.00 and I am happy to have a very small 0.25pt stake on that.
Best of luck if you follow these selections. Please always gamble responsibly.
