Leicester vs. West Ham Predictions: Expect a full blooded affair at the King Power

Live on Sky Sports, Leicester host West Ham in the Premier League at the King Power Stadium this Sunday at 4.30pm.

The hosts currently sit 13th in the Premier League table and come into this game in awful form having lost 3 of their last 4 games, including an embarrassing 4-1 defeat in the FA Cup against Championship side Nottingham Forest. Visitors West Ham sit 4th in the table with 40 points but come into this game in mixed form. They were on a run of 4 wins in a row in all competitions before losing consecutive games in the league. However, they came back after the international break and beat Watford 1-0 to claim an important 3 points and David Moyes will be hoping they can carry on that winning momentum against a Leicester side that is clearly struggling at the moment. Their last head to head meeting saw West Ham ease to a 4-1 win against 10 man City, who will be out for revenge this time around. It is usually goals galore when these 2 teams meet and another entertaining clash could be on the cards.

Castagne, Fofana, Ryan Bertrand, Vardy & Jonny Evans are out for Leicester while Nampalys Mendy is doubtful.

Arthur Masuaku and Angelo Ogbonna are out for West Ham.

A goal-fest is expected here with both teams a lot better at attacking than defending in recent weeks. They have seen at least 3 goals in their last 6 consecutive Premier League head to head games with both teams scoring in 5 of them. Jarrod Bowen is in supreme goal scoring form for West Ham at the moment, having scored 6 goals in his last 6 appearances for the club. He is currently their 2nd top scorer with 7 goals to his name and I can see him bagging against a struggling Leicester City side again. Declan Rice is the most booked West Ham player this season with 6 yellow cards to his name. He also averages the most tackles in the team  at 2.3 per game. I can see him mistiming one of these tackles and picking up another booking today. Combining these 2 selections gives us an attractive longshot double @ 19/1 and I am happy to have a very small 0.25pt stake on that.
