Leicester vs. Nottingham Forest Betting Tips: Two tips for the Monday Night Football

After a two week pause in the season due to the international break Premier League football has returned, Leicester host Nottingham Forest on Monday night to round off game-week nine of the season.
Leicester vs Nottingham Forest Tips
Brendan Rodgers’ side are rock bottom, they’ve accumulated just a single point so far this season and defensively look an absolute mess but they have found the back of the net more often than not in the early stages.
Newbies, Notts Forest haven’t been doing a whole lot better themselves, Steve Cooper’s side sit one place above their upcoming opponents in the table and a win here will push them out of the relegation zone and will leave Rodgers and Leicester in serious trouble.
Despite a win-less campaign so far, the Foxes are odds on to secure three points at the King Power, they’re available to back at 4/5 whilst the visitors are a juicy 7/2 to pile more misery on East Midlands club with the draw at 3/1 on most sites.
Leicester and goals have been a go to for a while now and that hasn’t changed this season at all. Five games from six has seen this selection bank in games involving the bottom side and with both sides desperate for a win it could quite possibly lead to an entertaining 90 minutes.
This selection has landed in two games from six when Forest have played although those have come in the most recent two. Forest have conceded the second most goals this season after Leicester so it could be a case or who can outscore the other.
Maddison is Leicester’s top scorer this season with three goals across six appearances, he’s the go to man for free kicks so that gives a greater opportunity of getting himself on the score-sheet.
Three Leicester players are priced shorter to score than the number 10 so I’m happy to back him at what I think is a valuable price, his side are as desperate as ever for a win and he could quite possibly be the man who kickstarts their season.
Three of Maddison’s seven shots on target have resulted in a goal this term, given he is priced at 6/4 to register two shots on target the 12/5 on him to score seems a bit of a jump.
Forest have conceded 23, 19 and 17 shots when playing away from the City Ground which provides a positive thought when backing the Leicester danger man.
This game could end with plenty of goals, an early lead from either side will open the game right up and potentially lead to plenty of chances. Backing goals seems the sensible way in here given how poorly Leicester in particular have been this season in terms of picking up results.
