Leicester vs. Leeds Betting Tips: 21/20 and 13/1 tips for Friday Night Football

First takes on third in The Championship on Friday evening as Leicester City host Leeds United. Our man Anthony Eadson has made a case for two bets that he likes the look of, which you can read all about below.
Enzo Maresca has enjoyed a marvelous start to life at Leicester City with the Foxes sitting pretty at the top of the second tier table. The Italian may look to recall Kelechi Iheanacho and Ricardo Pereira for the visit of Leeds with his side now as short as 1/3 with some betting sites to go on and lift the league trophy in May.
Leeds are currently 14 points behind Leicester in the standings, despite being just two places below Friday’s opponents. Joe Rodon picked up an injury in Daniel Farke’s side's most recent outing against Huddersfield, with Liam Cooper expected to replace him at the heart of Leeds’ defence. Djed Spence, Junior Firpo and Stuart Dallas remain on the treatment table
Leicester vs Leeds Tips
During the summer months it was quite obvious that Leicester would have one of the strongest squads to ever grace the Championship, however no pundits predicted quite how well the Foxes would perform in the first third of the campaign.
With 13 wins from 14 matches, Leicester find themselves 14 points clear of Leeds in third. Their current win streak in the league stands at nine, with their latest victory coming on the road at strugglers QPR.
This is a side who can afford to put in 5/10 performances and still win matches, although I think we’ll see them much closer to a 9/10 against Leeds who have started to find their feet under Daniel Farke.
Leeds have won four of their last five, but when looking at results away from Elland Road, they have only won one of their last four.
Leicester are in a harmonious place right now and Friday provides them with a chance to confirm that they could well be untouchable in the division this season. It seems an obvious play, but I’ll be taking Leicester to win the match at 21/20. Considering their blistering form this term, I expected the home side to be more around the 5/6 region, rather than the odds-against offering with Sky.
My longshot for the evening comes in the form of Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall to score and Jannik Vestergaard to be carded at 13/1 with bet365.
Dewsbury-Hall is one of a handful of Leicester players who are simply too good to be playing at this level. The 25-year-old has enjoyed a slightly more advanced role and has contributed five goals and six assists. Four of his goals have arrived across his seven home matches and he makes appeal here at the current prices to find the net against Leeds.
No player has been shown more yellow cards in the Championship this season than Jannik Vestergaard, who along with Ben Pearson of Stoke, has collected seven cautions. Four of those bookings have been across Vestergaard’s six league matches at The King Power and combining him to be carded with Dewsbury-Hall to be score pays 13/1 with bet365.
