Leicester vs. Everton Predictions: Best bets from the King Power

Leicester vs Everton Odds
Leicester welcome Everton to the King Power on Sunday afternoon as the Toffees look to build on last weekend’s win against the current European Champions. Our in-house tipster @AnthonyEadson has previewed the game and provided us with two data-driven selections he likes the look of.
Leicester said goodbye to their hopes of lifting the Europa Conference League trophy on Thursday evening, losing 1-0 in Rome on the night and 2-1 on aggregate. The Foxes will have had significantly less time to prepare for this match and are winless in their last six across all competitions.
Everton’s form on the road has been absolutely woeful this season, picking up just six points on their travels in the entire campaign. This, however, could be the perfect time to face Leicester and to turn that form around. Fresh off the back of a hard fought 1-0 victory against Chelsea at Goodison last week, Frank Lampard’s side can use that as the perfect springboard to pick up points on the road in the quest for survival.
Leicester will not have arrived back from Italy until Friday morning and they will be without both Wilfred Ndidi and Ryan Bertrand for this game. Ben Godfrey, Andros Townsend and Donny van de Beek are all absentees for the visitors.
Leicester vs Everton Tips
Richarlison has been somewhat of a flag bearer for Everton in recent weeks, taking the fight to the opposition single handedly in the final third at times. I’m backing him to have 2+ shots on target which is available at 21/10 with Paddy Power, or a 3/1 via a boost on Sky Bet at the time of writing.
The Brazilian has been a shining light in recent weeks for Everton and he is responsible for half of the Expected Goals (xG) total that the Toffees have created this season.
Leicester are also an opponent who Richarlison has enjoyed playing against in the past, scoring five goals in seven appearances against them. A whopping 55% of Richarlison’s shots on target this season have been recorded since the beginning of April and there’s no way I would have been touching this selection earlier on in the campaign.
However, Richarlison’s shots on target figures in his last five matches read 3,2,2,1,2 with this selection landing in four of his last five. The only exception in that period was away at Liverpool and despite him coming off with cramp against Chelsea I expect him to be firing on all cylinders on Sunday.
The other selection that I like the look of in the Midlands is Anthony Gordon to have 1+ shot on target and to also be carded. It’s been a great season for the 21-year-old, cementing his place in the Everton side. He’s chipped in with four goals and three assists in a struggling side this season, and when it comes to shots on target, he’s amassed 17 in 30 appearances at an average of 0.7 per 90 minutes.
Gordon has landed a shot on target in three of his last five matches and I expect Everton to create plenty of chances here against Leicester who have failed to win against the Toffees in their last four attempts.
I also like the look of Gordon to be carded here. Referee Craig Pawson is one of the better top-flight officials when it comes to dishing out the cards with an average of 4.33 yellows per game, ranking him 4th of the 18 to take control of 10+ Premier League matches this term.
Across his last seven matches, Anthony Gordon has been shown a yellow card on three occasions. He also picked up two yellow cards in four starts in the FA Cup this season and with what’s on the line here for Everton I think he looks a good prospect for another at Leicester. 10/1 is on show for the double for him to have a shot on target and pick up a card, which can be added directly to your betslip by clicking the link above.
