Premier League Sack Race 2025/26 Odds: The Favourites
We've run through the top contenders to be the fifth exit of the season, according to the latest odds - see the full market in the odds table above.
Nuno Santo (West Ham): 6/4
Nuno Santo remains the favourite for the sack at 6/4.
West Ham's winless run was extended to eight matches stretching back to early November after they were held to a 2-2 draw at home to Brighton; a game in which they twice took the lead but failed to hold on for what would have been a valuable three points.
The Hammers, 18th, are four points adrift of safety with a must-win trip to Wolves up next.
Scott Parker (Burnley): 9/2
Scott Parker was the unfortunate “winner” of the Premier League Sack Race in 2022/23 after being dismissed by Bournemouth in the wake of their 9-0 hammering at Anfield.
His current side Burnley have shown promise at times - notably with back-to-back October victories over Leeds and Wolves - and came agonisingly close to taking points off both Liverpool and Manchester United.
However, despite those small positives, only Wolves have picked up fewer points than the Clarets, who are 19th in the table and without a win in 10 games (eight of which they've lost), which leaves Parker under fire at 9/2.
Enzo Maresca (Chelsea): 8/1
One manager to keep a close eye on is Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca, who can now be backed at 8/1.
Chelsea’s 2024/25 campaign looked to be unravelling before a strong finish saw them secure Champions League football and lift the Conference League trophy. They then claimed a stunning triumph in the Club World Cup after Maresca conjured up a managerial masterclass over PSG's Luis Enrique.
Yet, Chelsea have struggled to hit those heights in 2025/26, with Maresca booed by his own fans during a chaotic 2-2 draw against Bournemouth. Chelsea's inconsistency and defensive vulnerability have left fans frustrated ahead of a daunting trip to Man City this weekend.
History shows that stability is rarely a luxury at Stamford Bridge. With Chelsea’s notoriously short managerial leash, Maresca at 8/1 could tempt those who are expecting potential turbulence in the upcoming weeks.
Thomas Frank (Tottenham): 8/1
Thomas Frank is still among the contenders at 8/1 as he works through a challenging spell at Tottenham.
Consecutive losses to Nottingham Forest and Liverpool ramped up the pressure on Frank, but a vital away victory over Crystal Palace provided some relief.
Tottenham will now be looking to build momentum with upcoming fixtures against Brentford, Sunderland, and Bournemouth.
Ruben Amorim (Man Utd): 10/1
Ruben Amorim, 10/1, appears to be running out of time at Man United with many fans losing faith in his tactics and approach after he reverted back to his favoured 3-4-3 formation during the poor draw at home to winless Wolves.
United became only the third club to fail to beat the Midlands side this season, who arrived at Old Trafford on the back of 12 straight defeats in all competitions.
Next up for Man United are trips to Leeds and Burnley, before the Manchester derby in mid-January.
