Leeds vs Newcastle Prediction: Shots galore for Leeds on the horizon

Saturday’s clash sees both teams come into this game at what they’d consider to be the wrong end of the table. A win would be vital for either side here, so expect some tension throughout.
Leeds vs Newcastle Tips:
Leeds’ surprise 3-2 win at high-flying West Ham has given them a bit of breathing room at the bottom, pushing themselves three points above Everton in 16th, having played a game more. Newcastle have shown signs of promise since Eddie Howe took charge, but they’re still stuck with one league win this season, leaving them stranded in 19th place. As ever, we’ll look ahead to this weekend’s game, and provide two tips for it. Please gamble responsibly.
We’ll start off with our first bet for the game, Leeds to register 18+ shots in the game. This bet has landed in each of Leeds’ two league games, with them seeing off West Ham and Burnley in the process. The Yorkshire side are averaging a little over 14 shots per game this season, but interestingly enough, when they face any of the five sides below them in the league, they are just over 21 shots per game. Newcastle have also let in 18+ shots in nine of their 20 league games this term.
With the raucous Elland Road crowd behind them, expect Leeds to attack in waves as they normally do, and the 11/5 shot to land.
Correct scores are definitely hard enough to predict on their own, but bear with me. Leeds are unbeaten in five meetings against the sides below them in the table, winning three and drawing twice. Marcelo Bielsa’s side have scored three goals in each of their last two league games, and face a Newcastle side with the third lowest goals for record in the Premier League this campaign. With the likes of Rodrigo and Patrick Bamford returning for more and more minutes this week, Leeds are slowly getting back to their best, and coupled with the fact that Newcastle are terrible at defending, I fancy the hosts to get a hatful on Saturday. We’ve added in the away goal for Newcastle, purely down to the fact that Allan Saint-Maximin is in scintillating form, and scored in the reverse fixture.
