Leeds vs Brentford Odds: Bet on it getting feisty at Elland Road

There's a host of Premier League matches on Sunday following the midweek fixtures and following their dramatic 1-0 win against Crystal Palace, Leeds are favourites to get another three points when Brentford visit Elland Road for the 2pm kick off. Marcelo Bielsa's side are best price even money to win the game, an implied probability of 50%, 3/1 Brentford and the draw 14/5.
A late Raphinha penalty won the game for Leeds and the Brazilian is sure to be central to everything good that Leeds do on Sunday. The bookies are wise however pricing him up as short as 7/20 for a shot on target against Brentford and 7/4 for two.
Sticking with the shot on target market I've picked out what I consider a value play in the shape of Daniel James whilst I also venture into the bookings market after a massive eight yellows were shown in Leeds' win against Palace on Tuesday whilst David Coote takes charge, a ref who is averaging over five yellow cards per game this season and the third most fouls per game in the Premier League this term. Whilst Raphinha is undoubtedly Leeds' star man acting predominantly off the right flank, I've picked out what I consider a value bet at odds against for Leeds' other winger Dan James to get a shot on target at 21/20 with William Hill.
The Welshman has been growing with confidence for his new club having transferred in September from Manchester United and has been putting up some eye-catching numbers in recent weeks.
James has racked up 27 shots for Leeds in 11 games, the second most for the club behind Raphinha (37) and averaging just under two and a half shots per game from the left wing. Whilst he's only managed five shots on target this season, 13 of these shots came in his last three starts and he had seven shots against Spurs three games ago where he also found the net.
There's a few I like in the bookings market for this game but with some of the players touch and go whether they'll start the game I'm playing it safe with Brentford's Sergi Canos to be carded at 11/4.
The Spaniard has been virtually and ever-present for the Bees this season and has picked up the joint most yellows for the team with four. He's averaging a yellow every four fouls and playing wing back he's going to be going head to head with Dan James and a team who love to play it wide.
Canos put in four tackles against Spurs on Thursday night, the most of any player on the pitch and whilst his teammate Christian Norgaard shouldn't be ignored in the bookings market, he's a smidge bigger at the prices and my second tip for the match.
Pending team news I wouldn't put you off adding the likes of Junior Firpo or Liam Cooper to a to be booked bet builder. Firpo (13/8) has been a walking card when he does play this season with three bookings in his nine appearances for the club and from only 13 fouls. In fact the Brazilian picked up a yellow on Tuesday within minutes of his introduction and its just the doubt over whether he'll start the match why I'm not putting him up early.
Ivan Toney is the second most fouled player in the Premier League this season and up against Liam Cooper who already has four yellows to his name this term, at 21/10 he's worth a play in multis.
