Juventus v Inter Tips: Champions fancied to pile on Juve's misery

Newly crowned champions Inter Milan look to seal a league double over bitter rivals Juventus this evening when the sides lock horns in the Derby d’Italia.
Despite only losing two games all season, Antonio Conte’s side come into this one as rank outsiders with the bookies pricing them at around 11/5. With long term absentees Aleksandr Kolarov and Arturo Vidal ruled out of this one, Inter’s supremo looks set to field the usual suspects which should see Lautaro Matinez partner Romelu Lukaku upfront following the Argentines apology for a poor reaction to been subbed.
As for the hosts, Andrea Pirlo is hopeful that Merih Demiral and Federico Chiesa will be available and with a fully fit squad at his disposal, Giorgio Chiellini and Juan Cuadrado are expected to return to the Bianconeri's starting XI.
Juventus v Inter Tips
Despite the fact that Conte’s side have nothing but prestige to play for, Inter will simply not let up. Their Inter 3-1 victory over Roma at San Siro on Wednesday was their fourth in a row in a season in which they have only lost twice domestically!
As for the hosts, a win is a must if they are going to stand any chance of qualifying for next season's Champions League, however, I cannot see how Pirlo’s disjointed Juventus will get anything out of this fixture.
Inter have played eleven games against the league's top seven sides. During which they have taken 25 points from a possible 33 with their only defeat coming courtesy of AC Milan back in October. They have scored 20 goals in these games whilst shipping just nine.
The Old Lady, on the other hand, have been much less consistent when it comes to going toe-to-toe with the big boys. Likewise, they have played eleven fixtures against the top seven clubs but they have only won four, drawn three and lost four.
Therefore, at a fraction over even money, Inter with a quarter of a goal start on the asian handicap certainly takes appeal here. This means that if the visitors win, the bet is a winner and if they draw we get half of our stake.
Marcelo Brozovic looks set to anchor the Nerazzurri midfield once more. The Croatian has been Conte’s most cynical player this campaign accumulating seven bookings domestically, though it is worth noting he has 14 in total for club and country.
He has picked up three cards in his last seven appearances and whilst his defensive output doesn’t top his sides charts- he averages 1.6 tackles, 1.3 interceptions and one foul per game- the cumbersome nature of his tackles make him a prime candidate for punishment.
Brozovic was booked when these sides last met in the Coppa Italia and with the likes of Ronaldo, Dybala and Cuadrado to contend with lightning could strike twice.
Price wise, he is as short as 7/4 elsewhere and this alone does not make his price with Betfair value but the fact that he has been carded in a quarter of his domestic starts does.
Using Betfair’s ‘Same Game Multi’ feature you can combine an Inter win with a Brozovic card and Lukaku to score anytime at odds of 25/1.
As alluded to, Inter have only lost twice all season and have won 55% of their games against Italy’s elite. Their talisman- Romelu Lukaku- is the league's second top goalscorer with 22 goals and whilst the Capocannoniere title may be just out of reach his record against the big boys speaks for itself. The Belgium striker has started ten games, scoring six and it does not hurt that he is on penalties.
