Jake Paul vs. Tommy Fury Odds: Tommy Fury the value as the underdog

I think it's fair to say that quite a lot of us are excited for this one. What started off as a gimmick has slowly turned into a highly anticipated boxing bout between, let's face it, two very evenly matched boxers. We'll be offering our thoughts on the big fight and providing you with our two best bets for this PPV blockbuster event.
Jake Paul vs Tommy Fury Odds
Jake Paul vs Tommy Fury Betting Tips:
Going into this fight both fighters and undefeated and have interesting CVs. Jake Paul has taken in some big names in the MMA world but is yet to fight a proper boxer. On the other hand, Tommy Fury is a professional boxer, but is yet to be tested in the ring due to the calibre of his opponents, but that is what makes this fight so interesting.
To the surprise of many Jake Paul comes into this fight as the odds-on favourite at 8/13 with Tommy Fury being the 6/5 underdog. Both fighters are more favoured to win via knockout at around the 2/1 and both at around 5/1 for the decision.
The value well and truly could lie with Tommy Fury in the win market. Many were expecting the professional boxer to be the favourite coming into this one but the bookmakers don't seem to fancy his chances against the YouTuber turned boxer.
In terms of technique and fundamentals, Fury is miles ahead of Paul but he has fought nowhere near the level of fighter as Jake and is not as active. However, I don't think the opponents matter too much. Yes they have been big names for Paul but these have mainly been retired MMA fighters who are not known for their boxing skills, Tommy has at least fought some journeymen in the boxing scenes and has looked good whilst doing it.
As far as who the better boxer is, most would say Tommy Fury and while Jake may have power on his side, with this only being an eight round fight, he could coast to victory, of course there is also always the chance of him getting an early stoppage. I think this is a big step up for Paul and Tommy's class should show up in this fight. We'll be backing him in the win market at 6/5 for this one.
For our second bet, we'll be opting for Fury via KO/TKO. As previously mentioned, I think Tommy is the better boxer by a decent margin, and he could expose Jake Paul's fundamentals big time in this fight.
If you've watched any of Tommy Fury's fights, you'll know he starts fast. I'm expecting more of the same from the Brit this time around. He knows he's got the skill to beat his opponents and if it's worked for him in the past, so why change it?
Jake has never been hit properly and that's quite worrying coming into this fight. The fighters he has faced have never properly tested him and now that's he's fighting a real boxer, if he does get clipped by the fast starting Fury, he could find himself in a world of trouble and will have a tough time recovering. Fury picks his shots well and has a wide variety of punches that can trouble Paul if he is on the ropes.
William Hill have boosted him to win in rounds 1-6 to 6/1 and considering his fast starts in the past, I think this represents some serious value. And that'll do us for this blockbuster PPV, if you are gambling on this event remember to do so responsibly and let's hope this fight is a good one.
