Transfer Betting: Jack Grealish Next Club Odds

Where next for Jack Grealish?
On 30 June it was reported by Sky Sports News that Manchester City had opened up talks for the potential transfer of Jack Grealish from Aston Villa.
In hope of keeping the superstar at the club, Aston Villa have offered Grealish a new and improved contract with the player still having four years remaining on his existing deal he signed back in September 2020.
Paddy Power have released odds for his next club with Manchester City the current favourites to capture the talented attacker. The 25-year-old started 24 league games for Dean Smith’s side last season and provided an impressive six goals and ten assists to help Aston Villa to an 11th place finish, after battling relegation 12 months prior.
There’s no denying just how problematic Grealish can be for defences, after being fouled 110 times last season, the most of any player in the Premier League despite missing nearly a third of the campaign.
His trickery and ability to make things happen would be an asset for any club at the moment and his odds for 8/13 for a switch to the Etihad imply a 61.9% chance that Grealish will leave Villa Park and join Pep Guardiola’s title-winners before 3 September.
Having a look at the other teams who Paddy Power have priced up and Arsenal are second in the market at 20/1, while Chelsea can be backed at 22/1. After being as short as 8/1 to sign Grealish when the season ended Manchester United are now 25/1. Paddy Power also currently have Grealish at 5/4 to remain at Villa Park beyond September 1st 2021.
