Inter Miami vs. Toronto Betting Tips: In-form Leonardo Campana backed to score again
Inter Miami will bid to bounce back from a rare defeat when they take on a Toronto side with just four league wins to their name this season.
Lionel Messi is expected to return from injury and should give the hosts the boost they need to rejuvenate their playoff hopes.
Jack Kitson has dropped his two top tips for the game below.
Inter Miami vs Toronto Tips
Inter Miami suffered a surprise 5-2 defeat to Atlanta last time out, which ended their run of 12 matches without a defeat in all competitions.
However, one player who has yet to suffer a loss in an Inter Miami shirt is Lionel Messi, who missed the match due to injury.
Messi is expected to return to the team against Toronto, as Inter Miami seek to return to winning ways, with the club seven points adrift of the play-off places with eight games remaining.
Goals have been a key theme of Inter Miam's matches, 16 of which have featured in their last three games alone.
Two of those games were won 3-1 against LA and 3-2 against Sporting KC and now, with Messi back in the frame, an Inter Miami win and both teams to score stands out at a best-priced 2/1 (Betfred); a bet that's returned five times since Messi's arrival.
Inter face a struggling Toronto side that are rock bottom of the Eastern Conference with 11 defeats in their last 12 matches.
Furthermore, Toronto's away form is absolutely woeful. They've lost the last seven in a row and have failed to win in the last 18 on their travels.
Messi has been in sparkling form for Inter Miami, scoring 11 goals and carding five assists in his 11 matches in all competitions.
Unsurprisingly he's just 4/9 to notch another goal against rock-bottom Toronto.
However, a look further down the anytime goalscorer market shows his teammate Leonardo Campana available at 7/5 (Paddy Power / Betfair), which I think represents a great price when taking into account his own goalscoring form of late.
The Ecuadorian has bagged five goals in his last three matches, and seven in his last six, which includes back-to-back braces against Atalanta and Sporting KC.
With that said, it might also be worth considering the 7/1 on offer for the forward to score two goals - or more - for the third straight game (also with Paddy Power / Betfair).
