Hull vs Stoke Odds: Potters to get their playoff charge back on track

The Championship weekly fixtures come to a close at high noon on Sunday. 19th placed Hull City host playoff chasing Stoke City, who have hit a bit of a stumbling block of late. We've asked our Championship regular @OddsTerrier to look at this one and find two betting angles to work with.
Both these teams enter this one with dodgy form. Hull are winless in four and Stoke have only won one of their last six which has seen them drop away from the playoff zone and fall 5 points behind 6th place Huddersfield. However, The Potters do have two games in hand and Michael O'Neill's men will be confident of a result here.
The Tigers will be buoyed by the performance they put up against Premier League Everton last week. They took Rafa Benitez's charges to extra time in a fabulous game which they ultimately lost 3-2. They need to pick up some points and quickly as they are only four points above the relegation zone. Grant McCann will be targeting this as a game they can get something out of given Stoke's recent dire form.
Hull vs Stoke Tips
First up we've gone for Stoke in the match market. Despite the lack of form shown of late by City, they are a better team than Hull and have far more attacking prowess. A few weeks ago Stoke would have been odds on here and with the return of some key players such as Jacob Brown, Josh Tymon and Tommy Smith they should have enough to turn over a poor Hull side.
I'm happy taking the 77/50 on offer at SBK.
Next up I've dipped into the cards market and the centre of midfield looks like an absolute warzone. You have Richard Smallwood (6 yellows) and George Honeyman (5y) up against the combative pair of Joe Allen (5 y, 1 r) and Sam Clucas (5y).
I've selected the pair of Clucas and Honeyman to find their way into the referee's book. Honeyman in particular, was fortunate not to get booked against Everton and I can see him being riled here against the spikey two in Stoke's midfield. Likewise, the rangy Clucas is a hot head and has 17 yellows and a red in the last four seasons.
Combining the two to be cautioned is 8/1 at Bet365. Please check other bookmakers before placing as not many had odds at the time of posting. As always good luck and please remember to gamble responsibly.
